Issues with several things - What to do and not to do.
Okay, I know someone removed this kind of topic written by a good friend of mine (Iceborn Mistress to be exact)
Why? Does it bother ANYONE that much? That someone ACTUALLY cares about that? Sure, we can have massive amounts of 'meme' posts, but something serious? Nah. That won't fly. Anywho.
Several Topics will be handled here:
-
End Game Chat -- I know, you're all gonna be like "oh, its the end of the game, no one cares". Listen to me first. I've had good friends of mine LEAVE League because it got VERY bad at times. Racial slurs, Homophobic feelings, HUGE amounts of swearing, etc. "If you have nothing good to say, say nothing at all" sums it up. Some people want to unwind from a day of work. ALL people want to enjoy their time. Any of the things I mentioned are NOT helpful in ANY CASE. "why? stop being a kid Lu" No. It's not called "being a kid" or "being a baby that should get off the internet". It's called respect. Grow up.
-
In-game Chat -- I know we all hit some points in League where we want to yell to people on the game. We ALL have. Admit it. BUT. That does NOT mean to go ALL OUT to make their lives miserable just because you didn't get that kill mid-lane you "could've gotten", or because "they're feeding" when they've said they're having sudden connection problems. I've been there. We all have sometime. So if you (to people who do this) have gone through it. Let it happen. IT HAPPENS. We also DO NOT need excessive swearing, harassment towards players that "don't play that specific champ you own and main", etc. Let alone people call each other the n- word, or whatever racial things, that nonsense. You know what I'm getting to.

Champ Select -- "I wanna play mid this game!" You join the queue, and you see someone ALREADY locked in with whatever champ they could pick in that half a second you were loading up, and didn't 'call their role'. Problem with this? MOST of the times it's someone out to do something to the game. Troll, go AFK, etc. Have had it happen too many times too. OF course, not EVERYONE is guilty of this, seen instalock mids do AMAZING and I give those guys props, but again, props for their skill, not for teamwork. Teamwork is about communication. No communication = problems in team = potential losses. So even if you main Yasuo mid, and wanna play him badly all games you play, at least let people know you will, I guarantee it'll make things slightly less... conflicted.
-
Champ Select BANS -- "Don't ban Blitzcrank, I'm good at him" some team mate does exactly that As I said before, communication is key. Does obviously NOT apply to enemy team though (psst, they can't see your messages). If you guys/gals happen to do ranked/norms draft, listen to these kinds of things. It'll make the game run more smoothly, and almost always get you a win.
-
Community itself (NOT ALL OF IT) -- Mostly all these root to the same thing. The people themselves. "You're a genius Lu! You figured out the cure to-" No. I didn't 'figure it out'. It's WELL KNOWN. We have toxic people, a WHOLE LOT of them. Listen guys, if you're part of those kind of people, I can't change you alright? I know. I'm not your parents, I'm not part of Riot. I just speak what I have in mind. Just suggesting. Go a little easier on the toxicity at least. I know we all want that pentakill, and have someone steal it, intentionally or accidentally. Don't flame him/her. I know we all wanted ganks bot at some point, yet the jungler seems to not have done much, or is underpowered. Don't harass him/her. People sometimes like talking in /ALL chat with opponents, A LOT sometimes. Don't curse at him/her, telling them to Phreak off because they're annoying as meeps. (Yes. I said it.) You don't have to talk to them back, others might like it. Respect is the key word. Things happen in life, people have to AFK sometimes, people have to accept defeat a LOT of times. It happens. Just enjoy the game, and report whoever is making your game less enjoyable than it should be.
P.S: Just because they play some champ you hate. Don't harass them either. They play Fizz or Zed? Let them enjoy their game. Even if they're well fed ;)
"It's the internet, OMG, git gud m8"
No. It's not about it "being the internet"
It's just saying some have to learn the basics of the Summoner's Code.
That's all I had to rant about, thanks for actually reading if you did :)
