Ok I want to know peoples opinion really. Is it really that fair to give someone a mmr loss of 2 RANKS because they got bugsplat one game? like seriously my mmr dropped from silver 1 to silver 3 IN ONE BUGSPLAT. IMO that is incredibly unfair especially when I had never left a game before on this account.
Same happened to me, I was in the loading screen and then it crashed for no reason and when I tried to reconnect it didnt open and I had to close it from the task manager and after I logged in 3 minutes passed and they did remake and I lost mmr for no reason even though I reconnected.
It's very hard for the system to differentiate between people that just pull the plug on their computer because they are salty/toxic and people that genuinely lose connection or get a bugsplat...And for that reason, its probably better to punish both...To be fair, it is not Riot's responsibility to have your computer checked or to give you a good connection to the internet...
Your MMR is based on your skill. It is a hidden number that there is no way of accurately predicting (even for services that claim they can). Are you referring to LP loss? Or are you just noticing different players you're being matched with?
