Time and Days W/the most trolls/afkers

Hi guys, I play league a LOT. I have 2 smurfs in which I lv up to 30 myself and rank with over the course of 3 years. Through that time, I noticed there is a correlation of when the most trolls and afkers are online. So I thought making this post might be helpful to some people like me, who are sick and tired of getting these players in Rank GAMEZ. I don't really care much if someone is going AD Teemo jg and dies to jg 5+deaths if it is in a NORMAL, but if it's a rank, c'mon guys.. Players should be treating ranks more seriously. If you want to troll or know you don't have enough time to play or have other things going on, that's what NORMals/bots are for. IMO Ranks should be for players in a competitive state, focusing on the game and winning. And if you just want to have fun, practice or troll, play a norm.

No offense, I've noticed most trolls/afks are younger players usually 18yo or below. (I'm not saying ALL young players are trolls, just that most of them are) They have their PARENTS limiting their activities which may come to league. These are the TWO main things to do when you want to avoid trolls and afks:

1.) Limiting yourself to only playing ranks on weekdays, you're more likely to NOT get trolls and afkers. 2.) Playing BEFORE school is out also gives you a better chance to dodge these players- for me it is BEFORE 3PM EST time. (This is usually the time most kids in NA time zones are still in school. )

This does not guarantee you wont have the occasional troll/afk. You cant escape them and they can be anywhere, anytime, anybody, any division/tier...! But by following these rules, most of them can be avoided.

Playing on the Weekend, you WILL get trolls, you will either have really good games or really bad games. Playing on the WeekDays at Night has a greater chance of getting trolls & afks, ESPECIALLY on Thursday and FRiday Nights.

Yesterday, TH night, I had 3 afks in a row in my rank games, the next game, had a Khazix who did 2 unsuccessful ganks (pre 6) and then raged quit. Ugh so you see, this experience made me want to make a post like this. Maybe I can now limit my rankings more towards these guidelines, maybe not. Sometimes I tell myself its ok to rank, Maybe I'll get lucky and get some competitive team players, but those are the times I end up getting trolls...

I think there is a lot of anecdotal evidence about what days/times have more or less trolls but very little actual evidence that the rates of "bad games" varies based on time of day or day of the week.

That being said - play on the days you think you will have the best experience on, if only because it might keep you from starting a game with a "pre-tilt" mindset.
