Forfeiting needs to be frowned upon.

Forfeiting, even though it is a function the game allows, needs to be frowned upon. This comes especially since the release of champion rank 6 and 7. These ranks require you to get S- two times, and S or S+ 3 times. If you complete a game in 25 minutes with 5 kills, 0 deaths, and 30 assists, with a nexus destruction, you're guaranteed an S or higher. If the other team forfeits before you get to destroy the nexus, you get an A+, or S- (not good enough for rank 7).

On average, if you play 10 games, 8 or 9 of them will end in a forfeit, making getting to rank 7 actually just a luck based thing, wether or not they decide to quit. Some people will say "maybe beat them slower" but that's just dumb, and not really something you want to do when trying for an S.

Something needs to be done to show this system isn't just a huge joke. Either remove the forfeit negative effect on your winning rank, or show people that forfeiting is not something we accept by removing all ip gained from the team that forfeit. Maybe even increase the ip gain for teams that lose, but don't forfeit.

TL;DR Forfeiting had a negative impact on the winning team's champion rank and something needs to be done to reduce the occurrence of forfeiting. 8/10 games being forfeit is unacceptable.

EDIT: Instead of hitting the down rate button and saying nothing, how about some of you guys voice your opinion? Down rating with silence shows your lack of ability to make a real thought.

Nah forfeiting is a part of the game that allows people to abandon lost causes. I've never had any problem with getting s off of forfeits so I'm not quite sure what you are talking about.

if you aren't getting an S grade with FF@20s, but will get it in 25mins, it just means that you are doing something much better within those 5 mins, but is "sucking" (compared to the S graders) before those 20 mins.

Infact, I've gotten S grades when my team FF@20.

I'm actually pretty surprised by this outcome so far (though, knowing this community I shouldn't be). It seems like most people are quitters who have never had a comeback. Am I crazy to think that people who aren't in it to win should play against the AI? Let me leave you with a few sayings that speak to my side:

Quitters never win, and winners never quit (and turtles don't do drugs).

And to quote my man Tim the tool-man Taylor "Never give up, never surrender!".

Words to live by.
