Got Penalised For Leaving Champ Select on Team with Griefer

I was playing a game in a party with my buddy Ceotheis and we experienced a Griefer on our team who would purposely kill himself to benefit the enemy team. We both reported him after game (which we lost because he fed and gave enemy level advantage) and got back into the queue. We were then placed on a team with him again, and I was penalised for leaving the game during champ selection. I believe this should not happen - if you report someone, why are you still able to be on team with them? We weren't even waiting long, and it seems that MM takes speed over all else.

I don't think It's exactly possible for Riot to track that sort of thing, I think if you block them you cannot get into another queue with them or something like that, Or you should've just waited, that's what I do if I get team mates who I don't like. Just next time take a break for 5 minutes for the queue.

Because you don't get punished after 1 report. If he feeds, report him again. Reason why is because say someone gets in a bad matchup or hasn't played a champ in a while or may have just woken up without his coffee. That person still tries as hard as he can but ends up feeding. Next game, he either has a more favorable, gotten better with the champ or had his coffee (probably all 3) and he ends up carrying your team.

Or at least that's how I view it. Point is, 1 offence is not enough for a ban.
