Champ Select

Champ Select, is the worst and most toxic part of league of legends. Game after game you will have 1-2 teammates who have given up just by looking at the enemy team. In champ select everyone is convinced you cannot get banned for what you say. In every 1/5 games you are called the N-word or told to kill yourself before the game has even started if you mention something something as basic as your team does not have any AP damage. Not only this, but if your teammates are convinced a champion is bad and you have hovered it dont expect to ever be playing it. Why can your teammates even ban your champions? It's not like the players are good either who do it, you ban my main champion and then go 1/6 and I didnt say anything at all about it. In low elos people lose just because of champ select toxicity and negativitey because they are told they cant win before the games start. I wanted to know if anything will ever be done about champ select, especially saying racial slurs, toxicity in chat, and the banning of your teammates champions.

I mean, personally, I disagree that champ select is the worst and most toxic. Are there parts I hate about it? Oh ya. But I don't find people using racial slurs 20% of the time. If you do notice it, mention it in the post-game report, with a note about champion select, and mark the "hate speech" box.

Why can your teammates even ban your champions?

If you're bottom last-pick declaring, let's say Tristana, and your teammates don't want to get rocket jumped, banning Tristana and putting you on your backup ADC is better than the enemy having Tristana and also putting you on your backup ADC.

Of course, it's better to have a backup that counters your main and it not be banned so you can easily counter-pick, but that's between your skills and communicating to your teammates that you're ready to counter-pick if your declaration is picked early.
