Flamers in ranked: the worst thing I've ever seen

Hello! I wanted to make a post about this because I'm getting very annoyed by the "flamers". I started a ranked game today (hoping in a good team, but didn't succed in finding a serious one) and was pretty positive about it, until the first flame came from Nami, my support. Lee got killed in an invade at the blue buff and got flamed; I had to help him with the Gromp, losing half of the first wave of minions. Nami started to say things like "you can't farm at all", "you can't play at all", "you can't do a single thing" and things like this. The game was proceding pretty well, until we got ganked and I lost more farm. She and Kata started to blame me for everything bad that was happening in the match, and they started flaming together, not only me, but also my other two team mates (Yasuo and Lee) who were doing a great job (Yas won the lane and Lee was just advicing us). We were winning at first, but from the moment they started harrassing they started to lose teamfights while typing, throwing and entire game. I muted them both, but it didn't work: I felt kinda guilty about the game. After the match they (obviously) said: "report this cait", "this noob deserves wood V", "x9 report". The opponents where congratulating each other for the match, while Kata and Nami continued arguing about me and my team mates.

This was just an experience (I had worse ones), and I wanted to share it because not everyone knows the importance of a good attitude, which reeeeeally helps improving and even winning. I reported these two for Verbal Abuse (and I'm not a person who only reports rarely). I hope that more people will understand that flaming won't let you win a game and makes your team magically become good, flaming will only make it worse, especially for people like me (maybe somebody just doesn't care).

That's all. Thank you for reading this, and if you want give me some suggestion to stop these people!

Listen friend, I have some wise words for you, okay? here goes.

Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb In the shape of an "L" on her forehead Well the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running Didn't make sense not to live for fun Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb So much to do, so much to see So what's wrong with taking the back streets? You'll never know if you don't go You'll never shine if you don't glow Hey now, you're an all-star, get your game on, go play Hey now, you're a rock star, get the show on, get paid And all that glitters is gold Only shooting stars break the mold

It'll happen, friend.

Well mute them and report them. That might not be the greatest solution, but it's kinda the only one we summoners have.

When all of your teammates are upset with you, you need to play better.

Ever since the jungle changes, laners have been struggling to figure out how to leash.

You need to be in lane in time to kill the first wave. If you are not, the other team will get the gold and the experience, hit level 2 a wave ahead of you, hit level 3 a wave ahead of you, and have several good chances to kill you in lane.

Junglers have smite. If they mess up their clear and fall behind, you only compound the problem by leaving lane so you fall behind as well. Lee can kill the gromp on his own with smite, or he can take the wolves, level up, and then get the gromp. Your job is to get in lane and get your farm.

If I were your support and you didn't come to lane, and missed your wave, thereby putting us both behind, I would be upset with you too.

It's one thing if players are attacking you with epithets about your race, gender or orientation, or are telling you to kill yourself. But when you play poorly and make bad decisions and people get upset about your poor play, that's within bounds.
