Bugsplat error triggers leaverbuster?

So i was in a ranked game earlier today and my suddenly crashed, popping up the bugsplat box that says "whoops something broke!". After attempting to reconnect for about 5-7 minutes, and constantly having the game crash, i got the notification that told me that the leaver buster system was triggered on my account. My question:** why does the game crashing itself, not me leaving of my own will, but forcibly being ejected from the client, trigger a leaving penalty**. That's completely unfair isn't it? Any one who can tell me why this happens, please explain.

Leavebuster, as I understand it, will never trigger off a single game. It comes into effect once you've left/afk'ed/dc'ed X games for whatever reason.

Think of them like sick days at work/class. Technically, you can use those sick days when you're not actually sick. But if you use up all those sick days, then you're going to start to see some consequences for calling in more sick days, even if you are actually sick.

If you brought yourself to this situation by leaving/afk'ing games by choice, then you only have yourself to blame.

If you're legitimately having problems enough that leavebuster has slapped you from these problem alone, you need to find out what is wrong (if it's a computer configuration problem or a corrupt league install) before you join any more games. When you have a problem that causes you to leave, your teammates suffer.
