Aside from people spamming and making it hard to see what roles have been picked, it's a little frustrating to see people claim they called a role first, even when your chat log shows this isn't true.
Is this an actual limitation of the game? i.e. are the chat logs that you see different to the chat logs of others?
Its entirely possible that, on their screen, they DID call first. I don't know the inner functioning of Riot's chat servers, but its rather common for chat services to work as follows: First, as you type what you say, it will display on your own client. Second, your client tells the server to display the same message on other player's clients. In that quarter/half second, the other person does the same. Their client displays their own message, then loads your message afterwards.
Its definitely happened to me before, elsewhere, and a trusted third party revealed that my message was actually second, even though it appeared first on my screen.
Sometimes people load in at slightly different times in Blind, leading to one person thinking they called a lane immediately because they see no previous chat.
Solution: Stop playing Blind, it sucks.
