Losing LP, becouse of "elo hell"

I really like solo q, i'am a silver 5 player and i'am playing for like 5 months. I watch a lot of guides,streams and other type of stuff. So i created this discussion becouse there are players in solo queue that get example bottom and they just say "I'am top thanks" that tilts me every time. They all get toxic in the chat and stuff and tilts me more they even ban their champions, like who wants to gain lp with banning their teammates champs? I also dodged that champ select, and i lost 10 lp and i got A 30 MIN BAN!! So why do i have to wait 30 mins, what did i do wrong.. I mean i expected something like 5 to 10 mins, but what happend was just too much man.

Riot drew a line in the sand, and you're asking them what you did wrong when you chose to step over it.

Dodging has a very minimal punishment because Riot knows there are reasons to do it, either because of IRL stuff or trolls in champion select. They don't want you to dodge, but if you are willing to pay the price of a short wait and a few lost LP you are free to do so on occasion.

How often do you dodge? I dodge queue once every six months or so, normally because I'm not in a full premade and someone else logs in for some normals, so I only ever get a five minute timer.

Yeah i dodged a couple of times these times but once was i dodged blind pick, samce reason i say mid first but just someone instalocks. Then i play with friends i tell them i go clean my room wait for a sec, they start up queue and i end up declining. This is the third time i dodged.

Yeah, Riot doesn't really care what queue you dodged from, only how often you dodge. Guess the 30 minute timer is the slap on the wrist for dodging three times within whatever time frame they keep an eye on.

I'd like to change your view about the term "elo hell" Elo hell is not where your team is holding you back, its where you can't find a way to carry. Unless you're a support main you are in fact a carry and have the job of carrying the team to victory. So if you're losing games where you're even or below even then that game is deserved, if you're losing games where you're 19/1 and everyone on your is 0/20 then you were trolled. Here's the main point if you go even or just a bit over or under, thats okay. It just means you have work to do and thats great, everyone has to work on something.

Note All my opinion below What elo hell actually means

The place where you are no longer able to carry, and can see no other reason for the loss other than your team mates.

Why is this elo hell more accurate?(my opinion ofc)

Because with this mindset you set yourself on a pinnacle and everything around you is holding you back from achieving higher.

Just my 2 cents, ofc Elo hell exists everywhere its not limited to bronze/silver. It is where you hit a wall where your skill is no longer enough to push you higher. It is hell because you have to rely on people, and once you start doing that you see every error they make as a reason they're holding you back.

Long end of it all, if you want to climb you have to carry If you're not carrying you're being carried Everyone gets carried occassionally

People that hold champ select hostage are a dime a dozen. It's unfortunate but it happens. You dodged, you pay the price. Consider it an opportunity to practice a different role and move on.

They're only toxic if you let them be toxic. Give the man mid, MUTE HIM in game, and carry that useless mid from your new position. Be the bigger man.
