Banned for defending myself

SO i just got off a suspension like 2 days ago (to be fair i was beyond frustrated with this game) and i come back feeling ready to play some ranked. so i join a few games won most of them and then i get on a 3 game losing streak all due to trolls. first one is afk what can you do. second game no one responds to pings and they are talking **** how everyone sucks but them. third game im getting called out for being a **** jg even though im doing my job perfectly and the guy who first started talking smack was picking first time quinn top ever and playing ranked. im being harassed and so i defend myself although in an angry fashion (but at this point with trolls and afk anyone with a brain would be pissed off by now) so i fired back with some of my own words and insults. game ends, i'm starting next game and i get perma banned while in champ select.

How any of this is fair or makes sense is beyond me. i had like 100+ $ in skins. just to be perma banned by a troll who picks a champ hes never played before and feeds all game while flaming me for not carrying hard enough. Its ridiculous riot doesnt even look at the whole chat. most of the times ive been reported is because theres a duo or more people that are playing together and one of their friends is being a douche so i say something and i get reported. they dont actually make sensical and fair decisions they just look at how many people reported.

with that being said, Riot i am making hella smurf accounts and will make it my job to be the most toxic/feeding mother fucker you have ever had in this game. I will run off all your new players and never spend another penny on your stupid game again.

i am making hella smurf accounts and will make it my job to be the most toxic/feeding mother fucker you have ever had in this game.

That reaction alone makes me think you have no idea what the difference between defending yourself and retaliation is.

It's not defending yourself though. It's spamming nonsense into chat that nobody wants to read. How hard is that to understand?

Do you have some kind of deep seated emotional damage that causes you to view any negative comment from some random person as having actual value? Because I'm pretty sure anyone with any self worth at all would laugh and then pity the fool who just raged out online.

getting called out for being a jg even though im doing my job perfectly

This line told me almost everything I need to know. Pay attention to bans. They are warnings. Good luck on your new account, I hope you are a better player because of it.

I'm guessing you didn't post logs for a reason lel

Two days off a temp ban and you got yourself banned already? You clearly learned nothing from Riots escalating punishment system.

Your next account is doomed to the same fate if you continue to blame everyone else for how you choose to respond to anyone.

"How any of this is fair or makes sense is beyond me."

Let's see...

League of Legends Rules: ...#6 Players are not allowed to flame, swear at, or insult other players.

K1BiH: I was playing and getting frustrated so I started insulting other players.

I dunno, it makes sense to me. https://rs892.pbsrc.com/albums/ac123/xander2810/Animations/NPH-SHRUG.gif~c200

Retaliation isn't acceptable, ever.

and the guy who first started talking smack was picking first time quinn top ever and playing ranked.

Again, retaliation isnt acceptable.

im being harassed and so i defend myself although in an angry fashion (but at this point with trolls and afk anyone with a brain would be pissed off by now) so i fired back with some of my own words and insults. game ends, i'm starting next game and i get perma banned while in champ select.

Above

How any of this is fair or makes sense is beyond me. i had like 100+ $ in skins.

Money is not in consideration in any way at all.

they dont actually make sensical and fair decisions they just look at how many people reported.

Actually they read the logs.

with that being said, Riot i am making hella smurf accounts and will make it my job to be the most toxic/feeding mother fucker you have ever had in this game. I will run off all your new players and never spend another penny on your stupid game again.

And this is the behavior that earned you the perma-ban after not reforming.

As much as I get where you are coming from, and agree that you do not deserve a perma ban, there is nothing to be done. This is how Riot plays. Its their game and you have to play it their way, which is something I am learning very much.

If you come back and give it another attempt on a new account, mute everybody every game. You don't have to see the stupid things people say, you just play your own and lose a lot because of trolls. But you'll get better.

Not the best move to say youre going to smurf/toxic/feed but after being banned from a game that you sink $$$ into what can anybody expect?

Personally its a strategy they use to make more $$$. You spent $100+ and are slightly toxic, mine as well ban you because chances are you're pretty hooked on the game and likely to make a new account and even though you say you wont, you'll most likely sink more $$$ into the new account. Its a giant scam that I hope Riot gets in trouble for someday, but for now they are in charge and this is the way they play.

Good luck

Defending yourself can be okay, but in practice, it's fairly risky. Why? Not because defending yourself is inherently a problem, but because the vast majority of people don't take the right approach to it. That is to say that if you choose to stoop to their level and flame them back, you're no more innocent than they are.

If you have problems with being able to handle these situations properly, or you get set off easily by other people in chat, just use the "/mute all" feature at the start of each game. If your teammates start bickering or blaming you, you'll never know. You'll probably play better because you'll only have the game to focus on.

So you feel you shouldn't be banned from playing with others, and at the same time, want to be toxic to random people who did nothing to you in retaliation? I'm confused. >.<

i read the title and i was like "kindergarten? you have to defend yourself when some random person who doesnt know you on the internet insults you? i didnt know flame allows you to flame back"

AraMoOse1/13/2016, 5:45:46 PM1 votes

Didn't even read the post.

What you need to do is observe the difference between "defending yourself" and "counter attacking".

What you are doing is counter attacking. Defend yourself by muting and then reporting the people. Bang, job done.

PlatypusSurprise1/13/2016, 4:04:22 PM1 votes

That's what mute is for, so you don't have to listen to trolls that try to provoke you and make you go on tilt.

The next time someone tries to set you off (since you said you were making a new account) just mute them and report them after the game so the next person does not have to deal with it.

As for the "I spent X number of $'s" argument... go to the league home page > community > Community Events. Then look at the online events and join one of them since they no joke have RP and 4 win IP boosts as prizes with no entree fee and since they are endorsed by Riot you can even get the Triumphant Ryze skin if you win.
