Riots "tribunal" isn't a functional system.

Upon entering a game on my smurf account (this on here), we had an autolock top udyr who stole the lane of our lissandra. I wasn't duo'd with her or anything, but we had no support, and liss had already called and locked for top before this guy just locks in and says "I don't care it's a level 6 game". He has this attitude pretty much the entirety of champ select, and we get into game. I let him know I'm going to report him for it, and I ask others to as well. Bannable offense or not, it's annoying for everyone involved. Our Lissandra is forced to roam around trying to pick up assists because udyr won't let her cs. He gets all upset at me for saying I'm going to report him, and he starts lying to the enemy team saying I am being toxic and using very hurtful words. He even starts intentionally feeding, even admitting to it in our team's chat. Again he continues with his "it's low levels and it doesnt matter" shtick before I get fed up. The worst thing I called him was a "dumbass" and that was just once. But upon exiting the game, I get reported (presumable by the enemy team as well), and I immediately get a 2 week ban.

I shouldn't have to explain why this is stupid. The autolocking, trash talking, intentional feeder gets away clean, and the person calling him out for his bull gets a 2 week ban? I am asking as nicely as I can for something to be done, not only about this broken ban system, but for my account back. I await your feedback.

Just because you were punished, doesn't mean that the other player wasn't.

two wrongs doesn't make a right. that guy should definitely be banned but verbal abuse is also a bannable offense.

how on earth is this verbal abuse? honestly he was using much more hurtful words than i was. All I said was he was a dumbass. And guess what, he was one. He was intentionally feeding, autolocking, and talking trash all game. If me calling him a dumbass really gets people that steamed up, then honestly Idk what to say about this community anymore. It's gone from annoying reddit memsters to SJW tumblrsexuals.

it's not about who was MORE hurtful, what other reportable things he was doing, or how easily people get offended. the fact is that "dumbass" is verbal abuse no matter what he was saying back.

To be fair, you're smurfing. This crap happens all the time at low levels because everyone is smurfing and nobody cares about their account. Also, your logs are awful, just because he autolocked doesn't mean you can talk like that.

%%%%%, calling someone who's intentionally feeding a dumbass is hardly terrible. League is literally the video game version of tumblr with how butthurt you people get. Honestly I woulda said much worst things to the udyr, and most people would when someone is intentionally wasting 40 minutes of 9 people's days.

Most of what I say is in retort to what he says. But instead of seeing the big picture and looking at the whole game, the current ban system just looks at one players' chat log. Here is my chat. Keep in mind, this is a span of 40 minutes, and the guy is going on and on the whole time.

Regardless of what the Udyr was doing in this game, your chat log here is pretty negative. You tried to get other people to report him at least five times, and spent almost the entire game complaining about his play. I get that intentional feeding is super frustrating, I truly do, but retaliating with negativity just makes the situation worse.

Well whether or not my behavior was ideal, I certainly don't think riot should be so robotic and cold as to give someone a 2 week ban just for getting annoyed at someone INTENTIONALLY annoying them. Seriously that's pretty dumb. 100 bucks says riot doesn't even look at these things anymore. Pretty sure it's actually just a computer system now.

Your games would be a lot more enjoyable if you just muted them and stopped giving them your attention. Instead you just became annoying to the other players, who were probably forced to mute you.

Also, asking others to report is harassment. The single phrase "report udyr" made you reportable.

This isn't the first time you've done this though; you would've had chat restrictions before. Why did you choose to continue your behavior after knowing it results in punishment? The next punishment is a permaban (unless you can go 3 months for it to drop a tier), so you might want to own up to your actions and change them if you want to keep your account.

While this log isn't overly toxic, you really don't make matters any better. You are constantly egging on this Udyr. We don't need to see the entire chat log to know that you are constantly egging on this player. Calling him a dumbass right away is not a great start. You are also asking your team to report this one player, a reportable offence in and of itself (personally I don't agree with this one but I don't make the rules).

Correct. That Udyr will very likely be punished, and will hit a 14 day ban most likely. However, because you got a 14 day ban means you've been getting punishments before this.
