Just another experience where pervasive and unchecked trolling has contributed to growing League's reputation as a toxic mess.

I am not proud of this explosion, but it needs to be repeatedly said that an unhealthy percentage of games at low elo showcase troll behaviors in ranked games. Not necessarily bad players; troll players and calculated griefing. __ This explosion wasn't about this particular game, it is about long term frustration in dealing with these types of people IN A RANKED CONTEXT.__

I just finished a game that had a non communicative Yas go something like 1/13/x, and a Varus that AFK'd on fountain for 5 minutes early game and would take 60 sec to shop.

The Shaco in the game tried griefing me for not doing enough in a frequent 3v5, and I snapped on him and got a chat ban.

Riot YOU HAVE A PROBLEM. It is so pervasive that it is like a competitor is attacking the gameplay in an attempt to degrade the product/experience. I want to participate in this game in a meaningful way but your denial on how demoralizing dealing with this crap is and inability to police this type of volume has made the game experience more negative than not.

"You control what you do". Yes, yes I know. And YOU control the policing of this type of passive trolling and game degredation.

I deserve the chat ban I got. I was driven mad and inappropriately went off on some trolls.

While trolls and griefers are annoying and frustrating to deal with you completely botched the handling of the situations big time and as such by your own admittance deserve the punishment. Make no mistake that they do get punished, it just takes longer to detect and prove intent wise since they;re getting smarter about how they avoid detection and because Riot doesn't want to falsely ban players.

Next time if you must rage then just do so at the screen instead of in chat. Also, as hard as it can be to do sometimes don't give the trolls the negative reaction they want out of you. Not feeding the trolls increases the chances they'll stop with their behavior (not a guarantee they'll stop but more of a chance than if you act like this).

P.S. You claim that the line that was percentaged out wasn't hate speech, so care to share what it was you actually said there?
