Account Banned

Hello, I have a small issue. My roommate got my login information somehow and trolled/flamed teammates and got me banned. He's gotten a hold of my password before and gotten me a 2 week suspension. Is there any way I can prove that he did this? Is there a way to see that the IP used was different than mine?

Nope. Learn to keep your login information safe. It is your responsibility to ensure no one uses your account.

If you're at a college dorm, your roommate is likely to have the same public IP, just like everyone else in the dorm. But that's irrelevant, a different IP that points to almost the exact same location isn't exactly proof that it wasn't you.

How did they get hold of your login information twice? What steps did you take to make it more secure after the first time?

Take it out of your roommate.

Your best bet is to open a support ticket, sadly riot 99% of the time won't overturn a toxicity ban. Gl to you

Sadly, no, there really isn't any way to prove that. You can try submitting a ticket to Player Support, but they do not overturn any punishments issued by the Instant Feedback System. Additionally, per the Terms of Use, all players are responsible for any actions that occur on their account, even if it is something that occurred during a suspected compromise.

Was it during the bot matches played on your account? Other than those, I don't really see any matches that stand out as being unusual.

I wish I had more encouraging news for you, but all I can suggest is to try and make your next account more secure so that this doesn't happen again.
