im getting framed in one of my games

so i enter a game of league and i tell my team what role i want to play. I am the forst one to say that i wanted to play adc, but they are 4 man premade and tell me to f*ck off and play jungle. I say no and lock in my champion because i am first pick and they should respect that (in my opinion). They still lock in as adc, and they go bot lane. So now I am in game with 3 man botlane and noone has smite so jng is not an option for anyone. and then they go in /all chat and tell the enemy team that i am trolling and instalocking my pick without even saying my preferred role. I tell them that this is not true but it's 4 against 1 so the enemy team agrees to all report me in the post-game screen. this is the second time that this has happened to me now and i'm getting quite pissed because of it. Is there any way Riot can fix this because its pretty fcked up, and i can't just report all 4 players of my team for negative attitude because that will make my reports useless. What am I supposed to do?

blind pick ofcourse, i was trying to play xayah but they instalocked. I understand that people want to play xayah adc but you'll have to play either draft pick, with a 5 man premade, or call adc first.

there are no written rules so there arent any to break. if they got the lock in first you are screwed.

Calling roles is very difficult. It ought to work on an honor system where everybody just knows the rules and follows it, but you're going to wind up in situations like this because everyone acts like a toddler whenever a new champion comes out and they want it. They will just disregard the commonplace rules, and if they don't get what they want they will throw a tantrum. (Don't be like these idiots).

Best you can do is instapick (not lock yet) and then call your role. If that role gets taken call another role to play the champion in.

If you desperately want to use a particular character, try going into a custom game and figuring out where the champion appears in your champion select on your screen, leave a piece of tape or sticker there for when you get into pvp champion select. Then hover mouse on the tape after you accept the matchmaking so you can click it immediately upon entering select. You don't have to lock in because selecting the champion reserves it for you. I had a high % success rate (maybe 75-80% ?) getting the champion I wanted with this (counting times in select, not just games played) back when I used to play blind pick.

The other solution is to recruit a team of 4 other players who are willing to do other roles to queue up with you and avoid the whole mess of conflicts in the first place. This can be harder to do, but a lot less stressful.

just lock in the champ first and call it after.

you want to play the champ, not exactly the position (else you'll be willing to play other things)

Riot can see pre-game chat, post-game chat and role assignments.

You shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Reports just flag the game for review; if your behaviour wasn't punishable, you won't be punished for it.

I'm not sure how they handle it in Blind Pick.

I don't think it would be an issue (since Riot doesn't enforce role selection in Blind Pick), so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Just make sure you don't do anything punishable in response and you should be in the clear.

NVM. I got it from context in comments further down. I was just confused by your word choice. Call order =/= pick order.

I haven't played blind pick mode in forever, so I had no idea if it still functioned the same as when I played. I did some research and was able to confirm it was the same.

That aside, sorry that happened to you dude, it sucks. At least it only counts as one report, and Riot will likely dismiss it as a red-herring because your teammates trolled you.

Reports are verified before any punishments are handed down. Being reported does not mean you will be punished; false reports get thrown out. So long as you haven't done anything wrong, you don't have to worry about it.

Many people will act like toddlers whenever a new champion comes out. Agreed, they suck and ruin the game. But the behavior happens in bursts when new champions are released. As such, most of the time they behave normally. Whether they get punished depends on how many different games they were abusive and got reported in. And on how harshly Riot is punishing the behaviors exhibited.

Best you can do is report them and move on. It's not worth stressing over any further than that, you will just tilt and have less fun in other games if you are still thinking about something that happened a game or three ago.

Multiple reports is meaningless, if you get reported in a game the system flags that game, no matter if it was one report or 9. And as others have said, Riot has chat logs for everything, they won't punish you if you did nothing wrong.

ok, so i just joined a new game and i can pick xayah noe, i get another adc on my team that thinks he can play adc because he's feeling like it... i don't get people in blind pick ( i only play draft pick but now with the new champs they Always get banned...)

Riot got rid of report weight. all reports trigger reviews now

Hint: if you want a specific role then don't play blinds. And if you want to be guaranteed to get a certain champ, play a custom game.

no. if you want a role. PLAY blinds, that way you can't be autofilled. then you just simply instalock your champ

Riot has already fixed this. Their reports will be useless. Don't fret. Let them reduce their report weights and piss and moan. You can pick whatever you want, especially if you picked first. I once got reported by a premade for taking blue buff as anivia, instead of giving it to jinx. Like, bitch please, you think the most mana dependent ap mage is gonna get punished for stealing blue buff from an ADC? Go ahead and let them report. Don't get emotional about it, they are fools.

Oh, really? I never liked the idea of report weight. If someone's doing something against the code, it shouldn't matter the credibility of who reported it.

yup. every report triggers a review now. according to tantram. the false ones still get thrown out, however they're still reviewed.
