Stop Crying WOLF on INTING

It would be great if people stopped reporting INT for every bad game. It is probably part of the reason the actual INTing takes so long to punish because some many of the reports are false.

Couple of games for reference

I load into a normal. Support goes o crap autofill..i suck at support I go im autofill adc as well this will be tough Jungle goes whats auto fill? Im lvl 30

Of course bot and jungle get destroyed..Top goes report them for inting...

Just had a Ranked game where I got lvl 1 cheesed in jungle will watching red than got a few 700 lagg spikes in top lane which i pinged for team So down a few deaths Than the jungle tryn comes with his undying ult and tower dives me with top tower down snow ball rolling hard now

Team goes report top in postgame My lane opponent goes no he fell behind and got ganked hard I say my team saw my lag... My jungle says Lag is your fault and reportable and you should not have died lvl 1 in jungle..

Twisted tree line blinds

I take bot drop 1st tower, no deaths. My top than loses tower. I try to help top and die. Go to bot get double teamed and die. Top goes you would be better if you afked you troll, you are horrible, reporting for INT. Proceeded to scream in all chat for 5 mins at every move I made or item I bought.

These a few choice picks but seems every few games its the same thing.

There is INTing but as long as people report silly things all the time it just helps the offenders hide.

Before I report for inting I look at their match history. If they have a history of 10, 15, 20 deaths a game they get reported. Everybody has bad games. When people do it on a consistent basis it's not just a bad game. Too bad Riot doesn't see it the same way and thinks every game is just a bad game.

Inting is anytime a player feeds. Intentional or not, the results are the same so there is no reason to treat them differently.

I don't care if they went 1/10 on purpose or 'accident', both fuck your 'teammates'.

At least we know the report system works, because i bet you those are the same people who come to the boards complaining about being banned while trolls and inters go free.

I've had people who went 1-12-8 try to report me for inting, and my kda was 0-8-7. I mean, yeah, I didn't get any kills... but I had fewer deaths so at least I'm trying at that point.

I mean, there were a few others that are just blatantly false - I went 2-9-7 or something like that in one game, and the jungler (who disconnected for 10 minutes at the very beginning of the game) tried to report me for inting because they had a score of 0-4-3, which they claimed was somehow better. Despite the fact that they were missing for somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of the game.

Just last game, the ADC was screaming at me the whole game for every possible goddamn thing in the universe while lording over me and demanding I be absolutely subservient to them, then claimed (and reported me) that I was intentionally feeding because I didn't do exactly what they said (even trying to micromanage me down to individual mouse clicks), even though I didn't have a single death to my name by the time they started spamming it.

The word of the average League player is worth infinitely less than fetid pig shit.

this post reminds me of every ranked game ive ever played. if you ever die, even once everyone goes "stop inting, report xx for feeding. bot is lost ff at 15" not even lying. every. single. ranked. game. ever

one thing that i see alot is people unable to play different styles. you shouldnt get cs and play when youre ahead the same as when youre behind. you should have different mindsets and different strategies. for example: top lane dies early a couple times and is already a few kills behind and cant farm that well because of the lane pressure. instead of just sacrificing his cs score and farming under tower he continues to try to play like normal and dies 5 more times before 15 mins mark. now the top has 7 kills if not more and is officially fed. people forget that laning is just a PHASE of the game and not the entire game itself. its OK to lose a lane and still contribute to your team in the later teamfight phase of the game. especially if other lanes are winning and you just lost top. i tell behind players all the time to just play defensive and your sole purpose at that point shouldnt be to get kills, or to even get CS, but to just do whatever you can without DYING. idc if you only get 1 cs per wave, thats still way better than getting 3/5 cs and dying to a fed laner over and over. pretty common sense... youd think anyways

It gets ridiculous fast. By the way, I will make this clear right now: rushing the enemy tower to get executed when you know the enemy cut off your escape is NOT inting. In fact, getting executed is smarter than staying to die.

though it brings back fond memories of how people would complain that I used a cheese strategy in a first person shooter and sniped my opponents from behind a fold-up wall with a ping of 2000 XD

any time they would complain, i'd just, "my ping is 2000...you literally have FOUR SECONDS to do whatever you can to me"

This is why there used to be an unskilled player option in the reporting. But everyone just abused it and riot took it out cuz its pointless.
