soft inting vs inting

so i know that intentional feeding (inting) is bannable, but is intentionally not trying to win also bannable? since half the people who "int" dont run it down tyler1 style, they literally cover it up by trying to always 1v1 with insanely fed enemies, ignore chat/pings, afk farming, and soft inting. how is this allowed? the root of toxicity in this game isnt people who run it down, its that some people just tilt so hard and refuse to try to even win the game unpunished, causing others to tilt and do the same. its the cycle of toxicity and yet riot does fcking nothing with the uselss honor system and stupid jokes making fun of tilt. out of my 4+ years of dedicated league play, there has only been one instance of real intentional feeding, yet countless instances of blatant soft inting and plain trolling like god damn hashinshin

Its allowed because no bad words were said, and having 40 bad games in a row with smite cleanse nunu purchasing only boots is clearly a coincidence. Wont link the opgg since the butthurt mods get salty.

Any behavior that intentionally interferes with your team is technically punishable, that includes distracting chat as well as harmful gameplay.

The problem is that it is really hard to ID something as trolling, it requires detailed manual review, and riot simply does not have the manpower for that. It is not something outsourced support services can handle, due to requiring extensive knowledge of the game.

In theory, yes. But how do you prove it unless the person is dumb enough to say it in chat? And even if they say it, how do you prove they meant it and didn't just say it and start trying again a minute later?

Frankly, Riot doesn't even punish actual intentional feeding and intentionally abandoning the game. If they can't address that, there's no hope for softer behaviors like "not trying your hardest to win." You just have to hope these people will sink lower in rank over time.
