I honestly dont feel like you guys check the reports or chat logs before giving penalties.

As i looked at my chatlog which they showed me where it contained no swearing or hate towards my teamates as i received hate and swearing the entire match for being a new player i get a 25 match chat restriction.

I feel your penalties are simply based on how many reports you get in that match which isnt good considering some people report for no reason or report to get enemy's team to report their own issues.

But im forced to click "i understand" after looking at this injustice.

I've been playing for only 2 days.

Everyone i come across.. Well about 80%

Is already used to the game or apparently pros, So why is it new players get penalties for not suiting the skill needs of these people? In low level nonranked matches.

You could atleast penalize those who also put out this injustice or actually bother to read the chats and reports given.

Some of these people just make new accounts and report people out of the hate they have for losing previous accounts.

Some one could literally make a 4 party team and all report that 1 person randomly added to their team from matchmaking for no reason at all and get them penalized.

If you guys actually played the game yourselves and seen this you'd be highly offended... Or, OR you'd be safe from these penalties.

The issue is, normal people like me are not safe, while toxic people get to roam about ruining others will to play, as well as their fun by putting them in a 1 message per 4 minutes situation, which makes it even harder to defend or explain yourself, leaving you to accusations and assertions.

You could have a bad game, or again simply be a new player and be harassed and bombarded with insults especially accusations of trolling, but since you cant type or when you do type your message gets pushed up by the spamming of pings, you cant explain yourself.

I wish i could include pictures to this post so you can see the ridiculousness im graced with after logging in.

I think you can only attach on computers, sorry.

Also, copy paste is fine. If you don't edit them, it's usually pretty obvious (and lots of times that a post has edited logs that aren't immediately obvious a Rioter will show up and post the actual logs, so if you don't edit them you don't have anything to worry about).

Desktop version site doesn't have uploads, they got rid of that a long time ago due to security risks. All you need to do to post a picture is upload it somewhere online (like imgur) and link the image URL.

I can take a picture and send it if someone can help me with all that.

Computer wont let me access websites after i downloaded new browser for some reason.

If anyone has facebook or instagram i can send the pics too.

I texts are equally funny as browser lol

We usually give the benefit of the doubt, unless there's absolutely no negativity in the logs given. Copy-pasting the text is fine.

Posted the logs. I typed everything out though. If anyone has fb messenger or instagram i can send you the pics of this so you can see this for yourself and upload it to this thread or post it elsewhere cause i hear RIOT be deleting threads

As a moderator for this sub-board, no, we don't delete your threads if you are posting your own chat logs for us to review and discuss. We frequently remove posts that are shaming other players or otherwise violating the Universal Rules, however, but the chat logs provided in your reform card do not have anyone else's logs.

Uploading an image to share is easy. Just pick any number of image hosting sites, or anywhere that you can post a photo from your computer (I recommend gyazo or imgur ), then right click the photo there and 'copy image URL/address' then post that here.

I would like to see the logs as well. It is probably something minor which I dont agree should be punished but thats how the system works. No choice but to adapt to it and communicate only in ways they consider acceptable.

I will type out everything i see when i log in.

I will admit, prior to the loss of that match i watched enemy attack inhibitor and did nothing due to knowing i was getting reported by allies and enemies for no reason.

But if that 15-45 second afk justifies 25 match which 1 match is usually 30-50 mins (25x30= 750 minutes.. 60 minutes is an hour. meaning about 12 hours of total gameplay in is needed to be released off restrictions. Which 30 mins out of those 12 hours can result in account suspension.

Heck you can get reported for simply not responding to your team and get accused of trolling.

But here's the typed out info of what i see after logging in.

25- GAME CHAT RESTRICTION

Your account's been chat restricted because of player-reported chat logs. Your Honor level has dropped and you lost access to free rewards. The way out of penalty box is to consistently play to win without going aggro in chat. After serving your penalty and showing focus on staying cool, you'll get a notification unlocking your rewards again.

Other players judged your comms to be far below the standards of the League of Legends community. The vast majority of players agree that while League's an intense, competitive game, everyone deserves respect on the Rift. If you continue communicating this way, you'll continue to be chat restricted and risk account suspensions.

For now i probs just wont communicate at all in this game, aint worth it.

And what's the point of allowing the ability to enable or disable a chat filter?

Atleast make it so it also enables or disables you from reporting.

Sometimes this game makes no sense..

The free to play champs dont form good teams either, which makes it harder to play.

You can be abusive in chat without using words caught by the filter, and even when you do use that sort of language they still have a gist of what you're saying so they don't really have much effect unless you are so young/naive you don't even know what those words might be yet. For example, if I say "Go ----- yourself", there is nothing good they are going to infer from that and the intent is clearly malicious. Additionally, if a player is force to mute you or turn on a filter you've already become a problem; it's not up to other players to avoid your negative behavior, it's up to you to show a little good sportsmanship.

If you are having the urge to insult or berate other players for any reason, that's for the best. You don't have to cease all communication, just try to keep your frustrations from becoming a problem to the rest of the team by putting it all in the chat. If a player is trolling, there is nothing you can say that will stop it, so it's better to just play around them and report them when the game ends.

The free to play champs dont form good teams either

There should always be enough for a legitimate team comp. Even if all champions are available, new players won't be able to form a "good" team anyway XD Don't worry about that, just learn and enjoy the game. I hear they have also increased the free rotation from 10 to 14!

The words that I know for sure have triggered the restriction are bad (kinda ridiculous) and trash either one of them would have been enough. Possibly die and report as well.

You may be cobfused on how the system works, swear words don't get you punished. Harassment / insults do and certainly will hate speech.

Multiple reports within the same game doesn't increase your chance / speed of getting punished. All it does is to flag the system to check for tozicity. 1 report or 9 reports returns the same answer.

took me quite a few permanent bans to learn but, don't bother chatting with anyone in-game in this community or find friends and do so on outside comms like discord etc. only things u should worry about typing inside the client are things like this example * enemy mid laners goes in for a play but has to use flash* so you could say: "21:34 mf 1942 adh" telling ur team u saw their mid flash at 21 mins and 34 seconds and the adc used his heal at 19:42. Thes rest of communication can just be pings.

As for the penalties, false penalties, toxic players and their behaviors? Riot doesn't care in the slightest, robots deal the restrictions and punishments. Might as well not waste the time trying to bring the issue to their attention, because compared to many on this game i haven't been playing all that long and Riot hasn't cared for a while they won't start anytime soon. Toxicity has been an issue reportedly since the near beginning of this game.

Number of report absolutely does determine the chance and how quickly you are punished, though some reports are worth more than others also excessive swearing can get you restricted along side insults and negative comments.
