Savee me from perma ban for no reason and idk how this works but pls help me

Who things this is perma ban worthy i mean i didnt even curse i only said wtf wtf but that was when i got oneshotted by illaoi and i wasnt even trying to trash talk her i just was confused about how much dmg she did.

You were warned, in no uncertain language, that if your behavior continued you would receive a permanent suspension.

Regardless of the fact you utilized either hate speech or told someone to kill themselves (censored by %%% on the boards), your chat is still quite negative. As this punishment doesn’t really look to be an invalid punishment, your account is no more. Riot gave you the “last chance” with the 14 day suspension, and by your own admission this was two days after you received that final warning.

Take this as a life lesson - if someone tells you that they’ll permanently ban you from something if you do something, don’t be surprised when they follow through on that.

If you believe Riot is in violation of your, or another person's, Constitutional rights, you should contact your local branch of the ACLU.

If your case has merit, which most middle schoolers can tell you it doesnt, they will take the case on pro bono.

Between the broken English and the EUW server for the accounts I am going to say he isn't American thus the ACLU has no interest and the US constitution has no bearing on this situation.

Riot is based in Los Angeles. Well the Constitution never had any bearing, regardless of location

It doesn't matter what company own Riot Games Inc. It is in which country their servers are located and which of that country's laws are broken that matters. If this is in EUW servers, the United States of America Constitution has no bearing on EUW to begin with even if it violate the Constitution.

Its a joke that an ALMOST million dollar company treats the adults that play this game like children. If someone sucks ass and need to be told that, than who cares? It's not right to the people who want to climb but continue getting non stop feeders who DONT get punished. That's whats wrong with this game.

True but funny enough i got this ban two days after my two week ban but still i dont think that that is worthy of losing alot of money plus time spent on this game ;_; i want my money back

The problem here is the point of the tiered punishment system is to give the player a serious warning that what they are doing is not acceptable and ignoring such a warning is bound to end you up with a perma ban.

A 14 day ban basically means you have one more chance to reform with a zero tolerance policy on your account.

If you had a two week ban, that's Riot basically putting you in the corner and letting you know this is your last chance and you're out.

What does last chance mean? Well it means that if your chat is even restriction level of toxicity, which normally would be just that, but that's it and you're done.

If you've had a two week ban, that means you've been ruining the game for other people who have spent money on the game as well. You should try and worry about yourself and not on your teammates. You should also try typing less and playing more.

Honestly, dude, you are SOL. While I don't think it is ban worthy, Riot really doesn't care. They. Really. Don't. They see chat logs, never review actual game play, and deal out overly harsh punishments. i think you're probably better off finding another game. This one isn't worth your money.

Freedom of speech refers to Congress making laws. No application here. Likewise, Riot doesn't stop your speech, but they can punish you for it.

Privately owned companies must abide by the constitution of the country they are in. In all actuality, they are breaking this inherent freedom in many cases. Now there are cases of obvious abuse and ill intent - I get that, we've all seen it and have been there before - but this is not extreme and not deserving of the 'judgment'.

Yes they do have to follow the Constitution.

The Constitution says, "Congress shall make no law...". Private companies are not state owned, by definition.

You seem to not understand the first word of the Amendment, which is kind of important, as it is also the subject of the Amendment.

I am not sure if Civics class or English class is lacking in the states.

In game chat and forum posts have different guidelines as they're different mediums. More negativity is allowed on the forum, as are disagreements/arguments.

If a conversation devolves into a flame war, it gets locked. If a person violates the community guidelines, they are warned (normally, but it can be skipped) and then given either temporary or permanent board suspensions.

Brah is trying to address the central point of your posts. You think that freedom of expression is required because of the constitution.

Nothing you say in game will result in prosecution at the federal, state, or county level. You have perfect freedom of expression here as freedom of expression is defined in the first amendment.

Any private business can enforce codes of conduct for their patrons.

Okay, I get you're just gonna keep attacking others and ignore the actual issue by focusing on semantics.

People have a right to talk to each other and express themselves. Only thing considered 'negative' is the "loser" bit. Statement of stats and facts is not negative or harassment; it was done ONCE and not continuously pointed out (if we are to agree that this is the entire chat log) in a manner meant to inflict hurt. People are punished for communicating in a way that, yes, can be annoying, but it is not toxic or negative. People are too carebear in a FIGHTING GAME. This type of restriction/ban is far too common and far too severe. I keep telling Riot to take the chat out all together if they don't like people talking to each other. But they won't because they want that money because banned players are usually addicted to the game and will make another account, likely spending more money to replace their 'lost' skins.

It's really hard to believe these two sentences are in the same post.

I've never been punished, but I'd probably quit League if they took out chat. I can play PvE games if I don't want to have any chat interaction with other players.

Also, Riot has a right to kick disruptive people off of their property, which includes their servers.

The OP got punished for using whatever "%%%" was twice. Words that get replaced like that are considered toxic, with no place in this game.

I agree, there are some cases where the system goes too far and hands out punishments when it shouldn't, and we need to be more vocal about saying "No, I wouldn't report that and that shouldn't be punished", but this is not such a case.

But they won't because they want that money because banned players are usually addicted to the game and will make another account, likely spending more money to replace their 'lost' skins.

I very much doubt that. Can you honestly say you'd buy back every skin you own today if you were banned? I could see maybe buying half a dozen skins, but that's it, which is far less than I'd be likely to buy if I wasn't banned.

Riot's stated the bans keep the few extreme players from driving off the average ones, and the average ones buy more content than the banned.

Personally, I actually wonder if Riot loses more money because of permabans, because the most toxic players then make new accounts, keep saying the same things that got them banned, and drive away new players who would have bought skins.

I'm not "attacking others". You keep misusing the Constitution as a defense, I have to keep explaining it to you. It is not "semantics", your counter argument was absolutely false and that is what I was referring to. Stop using it and I won't have to continually correct your blantingly incorrect interpretation of the 1st Amendment.

You are also incorrect that people have the right to talk to others or express themselves. It is not a "right" it is something that we are biologically able to do, no entity on Earth has to grant you the right to speak or type. What you seem to refer to as "carebear" the greater whole of society deems unacceptable language. Please show me in these logs where it isn't toxic or negative.

Lastly, Riot doesn't just get rid of chat or get rid of a particular player's chat, because their stance is that they don't want them in the game period. That is why you are still punishable even though there is a mute button. Riot, and most of the community's, expectation is that one can play a game with at least a borderline amount of self control.
