Anybody else still really pissed about Tyler1's ban?

Just curious, I personally think it's bullshit that the post about "the indefinite banning of Tyler1" got 4k downvotes and Riot does absolutely nothing. What about you guys?

I would probably be a little disappointed if someone like qt got banned, but if you manage to get 20 accounts perma'd, I have no sympathy. 4k downvotes is nothing. Let's not forget that 71 million people voted to keep armored bears out of League of Legends, but Volibear was released anyway. ~~Zileas did not rig the vote in any way, either.~~

You do realize that the post originally have 60+ before Tyler decided to show it on his stream right? Most of us don't even know or care of who he is, which is the reason why it doesn't have much up votes, but any neutral person that saw that post would agree about his ban. Just because you fanboys are so loud and obnoxious on the board doesn't mean a non fanboy would ever agree with you

Well I watched the stream and he didnt really seem "pissed" nor did he tell people to downvote the thread... I find it kinda funny how people that never saw his stream or anything will say stuff like "Tyler is playing the victim" even tho he said he deserved it.

i mean, he was toxic as fuck, he had it coming, but it's still a little disappointing that he doesn't stream league anymore. i'm subbed to his youtube though he still does some entertaining league stuff on there.

idk like.. as much as i like watching him play league he did definitely deserve the ban. but there are a lot of other streamers that deserve the same ban. i'm less mad about the fact that tyler got banned and more mad about the double standard.

they targeted him because he got popular. there are a ton of other permabanned players who deserve the same treatment and don't get it, and there are pros that get special treatment even though they're just as toxic.

Where's your proof? Provide some links to where Riot has done this because as it stands you sound like just another Tyler1 fan who can't stand the fact that he got banned and are trying to make up excuses to try to justify his behavior.

Keep in mind that Tyler1 has 20+ permabanned accounts, so most likely Riot knew of him long before that video was posted by him. Again though if you have any actual and valid proof that says otherwise then please post it here.

Someone else behaving poorly doesn't give you the excuse to behave poorly yourself as well. From Understanding the Tribunal:

4) That player in my game was far worse than me. Why am I banned??? a) I'll keep this one simple: retaliation isn't OK. Reacting to a toxic player by being toxic just incites that player to be even worse--it also ruins the game for up to 8 other players. It is far, far worse to watch two people yelling at each other all game than it is to watch 1 player ranting into blank space. Almost everyone in the game can find someone out there that behaves worse than they do--but so what? Finding someone worse doesn't justify your behavior or justify retaliation. We expect more out of our players. What players often don't realize is... those other players in your game that you thought were worse? Nearly 100% of the time, those players were banned even before you were. If someone is being toxic, just report them and move on. If you retaliate, both of you will be banned. It's really that simple.
