My account was perm banned for toxicity

I've invested nearly a thousand dollars into my account over the years. Placements are a taxing time and my games were loaded with trolls. Naturally, being a normal person, I responded to these trolls. Although I regret the actions I took, I feel a permanent ban is far too harsh of a punishment for what I have said compared to what I've experienced in other games where I don't report the player.

I would like to appeal this ban and I have no clue how to do so since the tribunal somehow found it possible to ban me without hours of the offence.

If you are toxic, you are toxic.

"Levels" of toxicity are imaginary. You are a positive influence on this game, or you are a negative influence on this game. You were banned because you were a negative influence on other player's experiences. If you didn't report other people for that, that's not Riot's fault.

You can submit a support ticket if you want to appeal but unless you think it was a mistake it isn't going to be overturned. "other people are worse" is not going to get it overturned.

Perma bans are almost never for a single incident. The logs you are sent are what lead to you getting a punishment, your punishment history is what lead to that punishment being a permanent ban. Frequent mildly negative behavior can and will lead to permanent bans. Not just severe behavior like many people think.

Have you been punished in the past?

Money is absolutely irrelevant.

Sorry, that isnt normal behavior. If you where being flamed, you should have muted them. If you where flaming people because you believed them to be trolling, that is not acceptable in any way either.

Although I regret the actions I took, I feel a permanent ban is far too harsh of a punishment for what I have said compared to what I've experienced in other games where I don't report the player.

I suggest you post your logs.

You will have had multiple warning punishments, and if you stayed toxic, you got the ban. Please post your logs.

Post your reform card and everyone is going to say" you deserved it" or something around those lines unless it was a mistake by riot, then you have to discuss about this with them but its highly likely it wasn't a mistake.

Punishments are escalating.

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day ban perma ban.

Amount of money spent on the game has no impact nor should it have a impact on punishments.

If you want traction in the community please post your chat logs. If there is nothing there you have nothing to worry about.

However even minor levels of toxic behavior will result in bans of it is a continuing behavior.

Honestly I wish riot would enforce a rule punishing players that abuse the report option, I've never been banned or even chat restricted myself but ive been reported many times for saying stuff like "Rushing deathcap on swain like that was a dumb move, you dont have any health to survive burst/cc lock for you ult to be effective" No Cussing, No Racism, nothing more said to the individual or any of my other teammates or enemy team, Their response is usually "muted and reported." and then i get this nifty little message saying how I verbally abused/ harassed them.

I wouldn't mind seeing those who abuse the report feature punished more harshly either. But I doubt Riot would do that since the perception that they'd be punished would make people less likely to report anyone. And not in a good way either.

Well, I got a 14 day ban for only telling people not to be ignorant. The story behind it is that whenever somebody rages at me or feels the need to blame me or whatever the case may be, I don't respond to them with toxicity or cursing or etc. However I do make them more angry than they already are by pointing out their littlest mistakes (Using the wrong your or there and etc.) This one game I played, my bot lane wasn't happy w/ my jungling because EVERY lane was being pushed hard and I tried to even out the work between. Imho, bot lane is the hardest to gank, idk why. So we ended up losing that game and bot lane was cussing up a storm at me. I just shrugged it off. So I queued up for another normal and what are the odds? The same people from last game! Yup.....big fat bummer. However while they were insulting me and cussing at me in the champ select, I just ignored them. When we get into game, those 2 people that were in my last game started talking trash about me in all chat. This guy was spelling Aatrox like "atrox" No big deal but its a little mistake that I can use to mess with him. Whenever he spelled it like this, I told him, "Don't be ignorant, it's Aatrox". All game. They cuss up a storm, I tell him not to be ignorant. So at the end of the game, I told him, "Gg you ignorant dipstick" I got banned, he sat there and smiled. This tribunal system like to screw people over. As I put it in my support ticket, you're arresting the store owner that just got robbed. Have a good day and good luck with your appeal!

Yes because those types of responses are so much better than what I said in game.

Seriously?
