Let me start off by saying I don't have any problem with any of the punishments I got.

That being said, I am banned for 14 days on my main account. I got on a new account and just got out of a ranked game where I was toxic yet again and banned for another 14 days. I don't disagree with either ban, but I just want to know what Riot expects me to do.

Let me explain the game from beginning to end. In champ select, a lot of my teammates like to right off the bat dislike me because I lock in unorthodox champs. Bear in mind, I don't do anything TOO ridiculous like fucking AP Riven, but I might lock in an ADC mid from time to time. In champ select, people like to talk shit. "uh, you know you're mid right?", "omg its gg already, he picked an ADC mid", etc. etc. These people from the moment I pick a champion already don't like me and already go into the game with a "we lost" mindset. And nothing is done about this. These people are never banned or even muted for toxicity and what is essentially throwing the game in a passive aggressive manner before the game even starts.

We get into the game and I remind my teammates that 3 ADCs ( we also had a marksman jungler ) is an actual thing if professional teams have done it. Just like lane swapping. People saw pros lane swap and now sometimes in solo queue games, you'll see two people switch lanes to get an advantage. There's nothing wrong with this. So anyway, fast-forward to mid game. I run bottom to gank and get a kill. Now immediately I start walking back mid because the lane is pushed. Bottom has absolutely no wards down there so I start pinging to let them know mid is missing and to back out of the lane. They had probably a total of 7 seconds before Lux actually appeared bot to kill them, and I spent all of those seconds warning them to GTFO of there. They stand there anyway, in complete darkness, pushed all the way up to the enemy turret and both of them die. So now Lux and Varus are ahead.

Now this sort of upsets me so I type "I pinged you 6 times, what are you doing?" or something like that. Immediately, they blame me for it by saying "why didn't you follow?", which is funny because I actually did turn around when I saw Lux appear bot and was using my slow in an attempt to save one of them as they died. This upsets me even more because I have a player blaming me for them feeding because it's TOTALLY my fault they had zero wards bottom and refused to respond to 6 back to back missing pings. I'm back mid now and as I'm typing "I did follow her, I was bot slowing her", Varus appears with Lux, they ult me and I die so now lets recap:

  • My team shit talks me in champ select for picking Ashe middle
  • My team is calling GG before the game even begins
  • My team doesn't listen to my pings because they don't like the champion I picked ( even though I was doing fine middle, I was ahead in CS and the enemy Khazix came mid to help Lux and she still couldn't secure a kill on me )
  • My team is blaming me for mistakes THEY made
  • Lux, who I was winning lane against prior to all this BS, now has 2 or 3 kills is way ahead of me

So you can imagine how mad I am at this point. I'm pissed the fuck off so I type "if you go full retard again, I'm afk" to my bottom lane. Within 10 seconds of me typing that they both run bottom and die two more times so essentially I reach maximum tilt and I tell the enemy team that I'm done playing and that they can push mid. I spend the remainder of the game cursing my teammates out ( mainly the bottom lane because they were the main ones being passive aggressive towards me because of my champion pick ) and also talking shit to the enemies ( mainly Lux because she began shit talking in all chat as well ).

Like I said, I'm not here to dispute the ban. I deserve the ban. I actually deserve longer than a 14 day ban. That's not what I'm discussing. I want to know what Riot expects me to do to deal with players who decide they don't like me and passive-aggressively fuck my experience up for me. What you don't understand is when I'm on a team with players who are behaving this way, I don't have any options at my disposal to deal with it. Mute button doesn't work because muting people who are being toxic toward you without typing the toxicity out changes nothing. Continuing to play the game when I have 2 intentional feeders bot lane doesn't work ( you still lose anyway ). Reporting them after the game doesn't work because there's no "team didn't like my champion pick so they passively trolled the fuck out of the game in retaliation" option. You put me in a position where talking shit to them is my only course of action. I don't have anything else. I'm forced to just give up because I can't possibly win in any sense of the word. I can't win the game, I can't win against the trolls because my reports will do nothing, how am I supposed to come out ahead in this situation? How do you expect me to behave when I lose out no matter what I choose to do, and these kids who think they have a right to force me to lose the game if I don't lock in what they me to pick?

Even worse is this dynamic queue shit where it teams me up with 4 premade. Newsflash Riot: when I'm on a team with 4 premade, IT'S A SHITTY FUCKING EXPERIENCE FOR ME. You know why? Because any time something wrong happens in the game, guess who gets the blame? ME. FRIENDS DON'T BLAME EACH OTHER WHEN SHIT GOES WRONG BECAUSE ITS WAY MORE CONVENIENT TO JUST PIN IT ALL ON THE 1 GUY WHO ACTUALLY SOLO QUEUED IN SOLO QUEUE. If we lose Dragon, they don't blame the jungler for missing Smite, they blame me because I "didn't do enough damage". If we dive a turret and get aced, no one blames the ADC for going in before the actual tank, they blame me because my "build sucks". I become the fucking scapegoat for everything, and then I get 4 reports for toxic chat by all 4 of them because why not, if you implement a dumb fucking system, why WOULDN'T people abuse it?

This game has nothing more to offer me because I know you don't have a solution for this and you never will. I'll play a game where I don't have to get fucked over every time I log in just because I don't have 4 butt buddies to accompany me.

The general idea is to just not type anger into the game you can get angry about decisions, cuss em out in ur mind or with your pal, but you gotta have good appearances, Never give them an excuse in chat to report you, because if they want to in the slightest they will find a reason to. Sometimes you gotta just take the bs they dish out and remember there is another game where they wont be in it in the future. You can be mad, but never show it :3

Mute and report them. Muting them means you don't have to hear them being toxic and reporting them (unless you report so often that the system ignores you) gets them punished for it.

Sounds like you need to make generous use of the Mute feature. You say that muting won't work because these people are exhibiting trolling behavior outside of just chat. But from what I'm reading, that's always after you've said something you didn't need to.

I'm not trying to blame their behavior on you, let's get that clear. You cannot control what other people do in the game, and they're fully responsible for their own behavior. But by the sounds of it, the real problems start when you react negatively to their negativity in chat. If you remove your own contribution to that chain, the entire thing breaks and none of the trolling behavior happens.

Or maybe it still does, in which case you report them at the end and move on. And yes, reports for trolling behavior do result in punishments.

Bottom line, though, is to use the mute button the moment people start saying things that put you at risk of tilting.

So your toxic? You know your toxic? You choose not to control yourself? I would say go play another game........

And no I don't care what the other people do/say. It doesn't matter at all what they do. Your choices are your own.... So either stop being toxic or go away........
