Haha ik, What I said was fucked up but if calling someone a rank in the game you are playing is a fucking bannable offense that's just retarded, Like I fully unserstand what I said was stupid and dumb but i mean seriously? a 14 day ban? If you have a level 30 account you know this isnt toxic compared to other things that people say and never get punished for.

No one is comparing it to other people's toxicity. You are compared to community standards, not other people.

People get punished for all sorts of things including the things you listed, just look around this section of the boards(just got done reading a thread with someone punished for one of them right before reading this). You just don't know about other people's punishments the overwhelming majority of the time.

hey we all have different opinions and ill respect yours even though i disagree. I think there should be a level that gets you banned. Not just a built up number of reports.

I think insulting people warrants a ban, yes. The words those insults come as are largely inconsequential.

It isn't the number of reports that gets you banned. Reports only trigger reviews of your behavior. It is what that review finds in combination with your history that determines if and what your punishment is. You are just only looking at one side of the equation, severity. Frequency is also a huge factor, specifically how many times you have punished in the past.

My problem is worse shit happens in games with less severity in punishments. I'm not consistently toxic if ever. It was just one game and it was mostly because my teammate was annoying me. Multiple games show up if you are toxic multiple times.

People get punished for both more and less severe things than this. But that isn't relevant anyway.

The logs you get are only meant to be an example. It seems like it requires the games to be very recent to show up in the logs. But getting 1 log does not mean your punishment was for only 1 game.

What was your punishment btw, 14 day ban? and what punishments have you had before?

It's not kids though. Kids don't care about swearing - in fact, I'm sure most people don't care about swearing until you make them care. What I mean by this is that if you start flaming them and harassing them for having a poor game, you can bet they will be tilted and begin hating you. Once that happens, the more civilized players will let you swear, harrass, insult, and worse in order for you to condemn yourself because they will be reporting you at the end of the match. Once you get enough reports, you get punished. So that's why people get reported. Not because of the swearing alone, but because people who are swollen assholes towards other players and the team will often provide their own evidence against themselves when the players they victimized get revenge by reporting them.

UPDATE: Sent in a ticket and a rioter responded telling me that I recieved the wrong punishment. He took off the 14 day suspension and warned me that my toxic attitude would get me the same punishment if I kept it up.
