League of Legends Match History

Well in my most recent game I was banned for 14 days for toxic behavior. Also i have received the first 2 Offensives , making my next offense a permaban. But what confuses me is how This matchmaking is done. I mainly play Norms and i really only do Ranked with friends or if i feel like playing it but most of the time i do Draft/Blind pick. But what i noticed is that in my blind / drafts i'm put with some players who aren't even level 30 yet , And even if its not ranked they should at least have the decency to put me with players who are at least near me skill wise. Also the matchmaking gets even worst , its as if you don't do ranked flex/ solo/duo They literally put you with the most random leagues ever , In my recent games they would put me with Bronze 4 and 5 with most of them having low lp While I just finished my provisional games and i got silver.
It just seems like Riot loves to Shame Toxic players then they create scenarios where it would be normal for any normal being to get aggravated And it pisses me off Because this is my first season playing and Some players even say its good to /Muteall in your games to avoid being toxic, but then you get reported for not communicating enough with your team, Even with the new pings you cant tell your team everything. It just seems to me that riot bans / shames toxic players but then doesn't go out of their way to avoid them

By the way the link to the game i gave you is the one where the teams are completely unbalanced and most of the players have 0 to no relation

Normals have their own MMR. A plat could be matched with someone who's bronze if their normal MMR were close to each other.

Yeah. Let's stop punishing robbers and just tell stores to stop opening in high crime areas.

That'll solve things.

You should be able to control yourself no matter who you're matched with.

But, I'm not certain that you're all that much better than the people you're matched with. http://www.leaguemath.com/farm-and-wards-per-league-per-role/ is older data, but CSing hasn't changed much. Your absolute best CS per minute so far is 4. Most beginners are placed into Silver to start. You've only got a 36% win rate. And, um, that match you linked was a 5v4.

It may sound like I'm attacking you, but calming yourself down to look at the data could do you some good.

Doesn't matter. You should be in control of yourself, no matter the scenario. You're responsible for your own actions, even if put into a less than ideal environment.

yes normal games have a ramndom-y matchmaking algo with a lot of skill variance allowed. it's good for allowing you to play with / against higher skill opponents and for having fun with your friends. however this is why some of us go ranked.

2

you dont get reported for not communicating. nobody actually reports for that.

you wanted a discussion about banning people. im game for that however do you have a thought on the topic ?

My goal isn't to try and make myself look like a good person because I did deserve my ban , but I highly doubt I have the mmr of a lv 28 and if riot really wants to keep bans at a low count they shouldn't make matches with players of total different skill levels and then act so amazed when someone gets pissed or agitated in one of their games , norms or not.

I'd personally like to see them give out punishments that fit the crimes on here (I made a similar post a while ago about my idea for punishments, so it may sound the same, but f'ck it). Let's say you call someone a "f-ggot" in game: instead of getting a punishment, what if rito forced you to sit through a half-hour documentary on the history of gay/lesbian rights and had you answer a questionaire at the end of it all? Acting like a self-centered twat in most of your games? Be forced to watch something on extreme narcicism. People tend to hate the punishments on here because they're far too broad and are often the same no matter what you do (you can get a 14-day ban literally a hundred different ways). Perhaps they'd like it more if the punishments fit the crimes?

The same thing has happened to me ! Over one Normal game I got banned for 14 days.... I think Rito should make a system for normals where if you get a certain amount of reports (FROM BOTH TEAMS) then you should be punished... simply relying on one persons report is aggravating
