ModThe Djinn4 votesUnfortunately, there is no way to get unbanned if the ban was not applied in error, which does not sound like it was the case.
"Talking shit" can take a number of forms, from minor offenses to serious and unconscionable toxicity, and all of these can earn different punishments, from the 10-game chat restriction (for first time offenders with relatively minor content) to a permanent ban (for repeated offenders or truly awful displays of unacceptable behavior). If you can post your punishment history (if any) and your chat logs we can help you figure out what your specific problem was.
Ultimately, League holds individuals responsible for their own actions and behavior. If someone is creating a toxic environment by insulting you and you respond by insulting them back, all that has happened is that there are now TWO people contributing to a toxic environment. Both of your behavior is then punishable.
The correct approach is to mute him, ignore him, or, if you must engage, do so in a polite and non-confrontational manner. Otherwise you are furthering the toxicity in that game, and subject to the punishments for doing so.

Yes, because penalties exist for being toxic, inting, trolling, and, yes, flaming.
If you report them for their behavior, the punishment system will swoop in and do its job. If you begin flaming -- a prohibited action -- when it swoops in it will find you in violation of the rule as well.
Them flaming/trolling you means they deserve punishment, but it DOES NOT give you free reign to flame them back free of consequences.
Timethief492 votesIf you didn't have a Chat restrictions or. 14 day Ban and it went straight to a perma, you should contact the Riot games support. If its a 14 day Ban we would need your logs cause that can Happen depending on the severity of what you wrote.

Timethief491 votesyes but it has been stated multiple times that its unlikely. you rather get a 14 day ban so you have atleast one shot to improve. because of that it often makes sense to contact the support due to them beeing able to decrease the punishment to a 14 day ban if there were no prior punishments.
