Permabanned i guess?

OK i'm confused because i got a white message that said that "the just system has decided that after this, you will be permanently banned." I have no idea why this has happens. I have spent over 600 dollars in this game and have had this account for like 3 years. i have a lot of good memories on it.. but heres the thing, i can still log in. its wired but i dont know what this means. does it mean if i get reported more ill get permabanned? or what? this happend in my last game so it might have not taken affect yet but idk.

It was a chat message from someone on your friends list. Open chat until you see it, then take a screenshot and submit a ticket at https://support.riotgames.com - this type of behavior is not allowed.

It's not a bug, it's a troll "joke".

Basically, someone on your Friends List messages you something like the following: "Hey there! (insert 10 or so empty lines here) System Notification: Due to your recent toxic activity, the Player Behavior & Moderation team has hereby permanently suspended your account. This suspension will take place immediately following the current game."

Basically, they put in enough lines that it blanks out your chat, and it just looks like it actually is a "System Notification".

If you check, I'm sure you'll find a message of that sort from someone on your Friends List, unless they blocked you immediately after sending the message.

It's sad that this is going around. It'd be a good April Fools' joke, but it's just causing unnecessary stress.

So, if you get a message like that, don't pay attention to it. You'll find the truth after the game, one way or another, so it doesn't matter.

umm i checked my friends list and none of them say that. it was post game.

Do you recall if it blanked the above chat beforehand? That's a telltale sign. Blocking someone deletes the chat, so if they removed you from their list, you might not be able to access the log anymore.

im not sure what you mean. The moment i was brought back to the client it had a white message saying that after this my account was going to be permabanned. And how would i accesses the "log?"

If it was a pop-up in the client, it might be legit. I'd open a support ticket just in case, and see if you can join games. If you open a ticket and they tell you that you haven't been banned, you might be able to gain access to the logs here: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674-Network-System-and-League-of-Legends-Logs#section-windows

so i opened a ticket and can still que up for games and go into practice mode. i didn't quite find it in the logs though.

I'd say don't worry about it until the support ticket is answered or a Rioter comments in this thread. If you can still play games, chances are it's nothing.

Do you have any specifics on it? That does seem to be what the OP is saying. Can you confirm it's a legitimate bug? I think that could help.

I haven't seen it, I just assumed off the numerous posts that this was how it was acting. I can't imagine anyone falling for it on the side bar of a chat box, but on the main client I could see it casuing serious concern.

Given that we also just had a patch which I have only seen these posts from since it released, and it seemed to make sense.

Are you actually banned. If the punishment box of death pops up when you log in, then yes you banned. It will also kick you out of the game. I guess you'll have to buy a lvl 30 account.

It was someone in your game lol you just do it like this

"Hi

blah blah blah justice system banned you"

What I believe this is, is that a little prick decided to troll you and did the emote message thing that makes it look like the message is official. You are 99% fine, if you can log in, you are not banned. Permabans don't have a delay.

Did you actually try logging out and then in again? Or are you just looking at the screen still. If you can of out and back in, then you are NOT banned. Otherwise, maybe.
