I haven't been playing on my account for about 6 months and now that I want to go back and play some games I fount out I've been permanently banned.
I would like to know how an account that haven't been used by me in over 6 months can get banned.
You will need to contact the support to find out what is the reason for your ban. Maybe someone used your account in the meantime? Bans for 3rd party programs get send out in waves, that could be an explanation why you got banned after you stopped using the account if you used a ban worthy program.
Maybe you shared account with someone and they used toxic behaviour , i suggest you to use leagueprofile or opgg and look at history games and see if someone played on your account.
can you post the exact message? if it says the account has been permanently suspended anywhere in there it means your account has just been locked due to security reasons.
