Honour System Broken

I have seen a couple friends who were a little more abrasive when the honour system came out. On realising that they were not progressing they reformed their behaviour; however, still have not leveled up at all in honour. After submitting tickets it was pointed out to them it was due to their behaviour.

So despite reforming it is now impossible for them to progress in honour making for them the system pointless for them.

The honor system was a good way at reforming people; however, without the reform mechanic the entire system is in actual fact pointless and to be honest actually bias.

Didn't Riot say it was going to be a clean slate for everyone?

They can still progress in honor. It depends both on number of games played and your behavior in those games.

There are some common behaviors that will slow down your honor progression (or lead to punishments); asking for reports, stating that you're reporting someone, stating that you're muting someone, telling someone they're trolling, posting KDA, GG EZ, asking to open a lane, saying gg after someone's mistake.
