How do you prepare for a Ranked Game?

Straight to the point --- During Season 5 i "unfairly" received Bronze 5 (a dime every time i heard that phrasing haha). My friend and I have been playing ranked this season to achieve silver at the least, mostly for the sake of having our borders. Personally ranked games stress me out. I had a long run of bad games a while back but I've been performing better as of late. I'm interested in any ways to mentally prepare for ranked games. Are there any strange methods you use to get ready to move up League's social ladder?

don't tilt and focus on your play. not anyone elses. the only common factor is you, so try and improve and get something out of every game.

I slit my wrists, offer the red water to my profane deity as a prayer for victory, then when I inevitably lose I forsake His Dark Grace and re-sit my wrists for the hell of it.

Go into ranked with the mindset you probably wont win. There are a lot of people that are under suspicion of "boosted" if you get what im saying ;P. Anyways it really depends on the skill of your teamates when it boils down to it. If your really good at the game it is still very hard to carry a team 1v4 even a 1v3 is stretching it (some exceptions). Please do not downvote me into oblivion as this is from my own experience as most of my ranked game are solo que.

Just keep in mind that you're always gonna lose around half your games. Don't go into it expecting to climb up.

There's also the 40/40/20 rule. You'll stomp 40% of the time no matter what. You'll get stomped 40% of the time no matter what. And you'll actually affect the outcome 20% of the time.

Just keep focusing on your own improvements and know in the back of your mind, the more you play, the better you are getting at the game. As long as you don't just blame teammates for losses, you will improve little by little.

The number 1 advice is: don't prioritize winning the game. Just focus on improving your role and doing the best you can. This is how you snowball and take your lead elsewhere to cover for any problem areas on your team.

Or you could get a new account do your provisionals and be placed in silver.

Just play one normal blind pick game with your best champion, telling everyone you called your role first, download keytweaks to unbind your enter keys and after your parctice match play ranked and dont say a single word.

Focus on the team's needs. You dont have tank? Go tank. No AD? Go ad. No Ap? Go ap. Ect. Also, have a decent pool of champions that fill these needs. Then, blame your support. [zombie-nunu-tears]
