Did i really deserve a 14 day ban?

I Just got out of a frustrating game, you know the ones where you are the jungler and when you gank, your lanes decide to farm and not do anything. Well i got banned after i tried to que up for the next game and it showed me my chat logs where i was supposedly displaying "toxic behavoir" in my recent games It is saddening that the community is slowly turning into a every man for themselves mentality. Now a days i cant ping for help and my teamates will be there ready to help. Instead people tend to either say the same "buy wards" or they flame you for being bad. I am human so i make mistakes and i cant win lane every game, but it seems like people would rather flame then help. Im going to post the chat logs and let me know what you guys think. I am also going to give some context since they only send you your chat logs and not what the other people in game were saying.

Game 1 - playing jungle elise xXNinjaBurritoXx: thx for the help - in regards to bot lane helping with leash (I try to go for early level 3 gank,do good damage while ez stays farming, run to bush and wait for my combo to be up since the enemy has no wards gank again, get him super low and he flashes under tower with like 10 hp left, ez still standing there) xXNinjaBurritoXx: wow this ez (later in game i come to gank again chunk enemy mid super low and i misplay and die from enemy tower, thought i could get one last hit for kill. ez was still farming. ) (ez starts flaming me for giving enemy mid kill i just ignore and continue playing, he keeps flaming for a good 3 mins) (He then dies to enemy mid and jg because he got ganked with no wards, continuing to blame and flame me because everyone knows people like to blame jg, i just ignore and ask all to report him after.) xXNinjaBurritoXx: report ez xXNinjaBurritoXx: for being douche bag teamate that doesnt help xXNinjaBurritoXx: cant gank when there in my jungle this fucktard (At this point in the game im behind because the fed enemy jg is invading and ez is losing lane badly and using my lack of ganks as a scapegoat, I know i probably shouldnt have said "fucktard" but sometimes when u get ignorant players like this u cant help it) xXNinjaBurritoXx: doesnt think xXNinjaBurritoXx: wards definetly stop reksai ffrom hitting me lmao xXNinjaBurritoXx: m xXNinjaBurritoXx: meanwhile xXNinjaBurritoXx: u dont get easy kills xXNinjaBurritoXx: talk shit rather than help xXNinjaBurritoXx: reported xXNinjaBurritoXx: what kind of player prefers to talk shit over helping team/try to win (Around this time in the game im really behind and still getting invaded by the enemy mid top and jg and i have been pinging for assistance, my brother who was in the top lane came to help many times and we end up dying one time because a 2v3 fight, ez is just talking shit and farming mid, he is in all chat telling people to report me for trash talk) xXNinjaBurritoXx: asking for help = trash talk now? xXNinjaBurritoXx: cuz ur being toxic as fuck xXNinjaBurritoXx: lol xXNinjaBurritoXx: ez thinks im reporting him for no reason xXNinjaBurritoXx: havent said a word lol xXNinjaBurritoXx: still getting flamed I mute ez for the rest of the game xXNinjaBurritoXx: shitty game - (this was just a joke at the enemy malph who said he had to use the bathroom and wanted to end the game soon and he said something like "dont talk about shit plz it makes it worse") xXNinjaBurritoXx: lol xXNinjaBurritoXx: there is this thing called mute xXNinjaBurritoXx: nope xXNinjaBurritoXx: teach me

Game 2 xXNinjaBurritoXx: ty xXNinjaBurritoXx: good leash xXNinjaBurritoXx: help xXNinjaBurritoXx: wtf In this game i was playing jungler again and i died at a level 3 gank when recalling in bush because the enemy mid (who was also really low) flashed over wall to kill me. I then start getting flamed again by our mid xXNinjaBurritoXx: dont just stand there xXNinjaBurritoXx: he flashed over wall xXNinjaBurritoXx: easy kill for u xXNinjaBurritoXx: report this lb thanks xXNinjaBurritoXx: toxic xXNinjaBurritoXx: nice I then try to gank for our top kassadin who is getting bullied by rengar, for some reason he ults away into a bush when he is super low instead of under our tower (this allowed rengar to jump on him easily and kill him) i am a little annoyed but i dont even flame kassadin just joke around and say gg xXNinjaBurritoXx: run from tower xXNinjaBurritoXx: gg xXNinjaBurritoXx: i come gank and dude runs away from tower xXNinjaBurritoXx: stand near bush for easy rengar jump xXNinjaBurritoXx: ikr xXNinjaBurritoXx: u would think a kass main would know xXNinjaBurritoXx: how can i gank if i do that xXNinjaBurritoXx: k xXNinjaBurritoXx: guess my team doesnt exist - (I say this after trying to steal drag and die since it was a 1v3 and my teamates were refusing to group at drag even tho it was warded for some reason) xXNinjaBurritoXx: sucks to play jg when ur team just wants to farm all game I say the above line in all chat and one of the enemies says to stop "qq" i didnt know what that was xXNinjaBurritoXx: qq? Game 3 - In this game i was put on a team with a 4 man que so i was pretty much the loner in this game. It seems to me that you know where you went wrong, or else you wouldn't have felt the need to provide context at the points where you did. The thing is, your behavior is what matters, not the context of that behavior. You're very negative, from pretty early points in each game. Your teammates make a single innocent mistake and you jump on them for it. Then you also like to threaten to report people. Overall you just seem like a pretty negative force in all of these logs, and I'd say deserving of punishment.

You aren't defending yourself. You aren't standing up to bullies. Defending yourself would be laying out a reasonable argument. These sentences are not helpful. They are passive aggressive and inflammatory. You know what helps? Eloquence. 'I need you to please ping or say something so we can coordinate better' 'Let's focus on the game instead of talking'

I've re-written two of your statements to have probably the meaning you were going for while being much more agreeable. Getting angry at someone who is already angry makes them more angry. It doesn't make them suddenly realize all the errors of their ways. It just makes them more angry and more likely to AFK, play more poorly, or even feed.

You talk to much in chat...is very annoying. Next time just mute them if they're toxic like you, because if you continue to flame them and they will flame you too, then is a guaranteed lose because nobody will focus on game. Anyway, you deserve a ban, but less than 14 days for that. Also, you should remember this: **If you don't have something positive to say, don't say anything at all! ** You're just making things worst if you flame instead on give your best and win the game. I bet your winrate is below 50% and that's is thanks to your attitude. Because, you know, that the players who communicate good have a better win ratio. Try to focus more on you and less on them, because you won't see them again in your future games so don't lose time with others, especially with the toxic players.

eh, even if they are flaming you and even if they instigated the argument, you can/will get banned if you retaliate nastily. I learned this the hard way. "fucktard" is a red flag even if he called you "dicksucking %%%got". idk how i feel about this, it kinda feels like grade school getting your arguments policed and getting put in "time-out", i.e. banned. at the same time, it's pretty annoying for your teammates when 1 or 2 of your team is getting all butthurt and whiny rather than just playing the game. more often that not, the complainer has a large part in facilitating a loss

my only advice would be to mute the person flaming or /mute all...and just focus on your own gameplay. I read your game 1 and it sounded like you set up some nice ganks. With competent players it probably woulda been enough to snowball the game and become a win. just focus on that :/

Did you have chat restrictions before the 14-day suspension, and do you feel like you've changed your behavior much since those restrictions (if so)?

just say what you were typing out loud instead of typing it and it saves time and trolling.. trolling that tilts the team

also i doubt you get it but when you dont give proper criticism to someone who fails to do what you want they will keep doing it "wrong". if you start doing it after you get pissed/fail 2+ times you will almost always come off as flaming/trolling regardless of how small of a mess up you tried making it out to be.

also almost all games i play have a tos/policy that say gms, decide based on severity and total times previously punished for said action with the third time usually being a ban, yes even flaming/trolling gets this punishment... so riot is actually pretty relaxed on that part way more than any other game i have played. i mean come on 3-4 chat restrictions then finally a ban? my old games would have been a 1-7 day chat restriction then a 3 day to a week ban then a permanent ban if you really were that bad..

So it is agreed i deserved punishment but why would riot go from 12 game chat ban to a 14 day ban for minimal flaming. I always get worse players in my game who are way more toxic than i am i.e. Racism, homophobic , int feed, afks, but it seems like those players get off free because idk if the person i reported got punished or not.

TBH, I don't understand why they even have in-game chat in ranked pre plat... What real purpose does it serve? Children and common folk are ignorant, generally selfish and hateful when they lose anything, what do you expect them to use chat for? Pings are all the communication they need, I should know, I'm currently silver...
