Access to in game chat logs

I don't know if any Riot employees will see this but if someone does see this I hope they can help. Are we ever going to allow access to in game chat logs so that we can help ban toxic players? A lot of my games there are players that ask if i report a player for toxicity, but I'm not sure if that even helps much. I feel if we have access to the logs then we can figure out what exactly they said and we can give specific detail on why that person should be punished.

Sincerely yours,

The automated system does a pretty decent job of validating reports and punishing players already. A few years ago there was talk about bringing the Tribunal back in addition to the Instant Feedback System, but haven't heard from that in a while.

If the enemy team asks for reports on a certain player for toxic or any other reason, you don't need to even consider reporting. It doesn't matter if 1 person reports or all 9. 1 report is all it takes to flag the system.

While the Tribunal system was active, we could read chat logs. Now that the Tribunal system is no longer in use, we the public, only have access to chat logs that are provided by people who were punished by the system.

When someone is punished for something they say, the reform card will show the player examples of the language they used that got them punished and those are what people typically copy and paste and put on the forums.
