I made a thread stating the perfect explanation for why the system is Flawed. DELETED.

Electric Synergy·1/11/2016, 5:41:22 PM·3 votes·3,378 views

So... i put my heart and soul and made the biggest effort to state all that is flawed in the current banning system and the way Riot is handling the community ATM. Suprisingly, the thread got deleted. i worked so hard and i made a poll and i told them why all permanent bans must be replaced with a month of a ban for this offense, and why the tribunal system must return. Riot is

not handling cases manually. 9\10 Toxic player cases are automatically rolled out and judged by a bot, who will determine the punishment with no sort of logic implemented into it's

pattern. i can see what you are trying to do, i truly do. you don't want to get to the point when there will be that one guy who manages to bring out the truth of how flawed their system is. they don't want to retain this RESPONSIBILITY to take care of what they need to take care of. i am pretty sure it's getting to the point where you are litteraly doing

what you are not suppost to do. you evading your responsibility, your community. now i don't care how hard it can be and how many cases there are to work on. it is YOUR COMMUNITY and you know you cannot let them handle themselves so why bother with the current system? i have no interest in explaining what Permanent bans were wrong in so many

ways, and why the current system is not working. The effect that came from the new system and riot's new method was very hard to notice. it produced almost no results, as i am witnessing the casual case of toxicity, hate speech and etc in games as we speak. I just don't understand why you'd have to stoop so low that you would dare delete my

RIGHT thread and actually think i am gonna sit back and cry for how insignificant i am. no. if you're not gonna take responsibility for your community and let that flawed system keep on, THEN AT LEAST ADMIT YOUR FAULT. deleting my previous thread helped me realize what point you are at, and this community is at. but why won't you at least admit to your faulty

method and say that you would at least TRY to fix it in advance? nobody has demanded so much from you like this. i don't think deleting threads that state that you're suppost to change will do any good. i hope you can come to understand how important this is..

Edit : i hope you are happy now. i don't see how painful it is read something as a "wall of text" instead of in paragraphs. are you trying to excuse your lack of capability to read?

  1. Riot outsources moderation of the boards
  2. Even Rioters have had posts deleted by moderators because they were in the wrong spot
  3. Why was your thread deleted? You'll have a notification with the reason explained
  4. Yeah, I'm not reading a massive run on complaint

You're supposed to capitalize the first letter of each sentence.

Jesus man, learn to break paragraphs. I'd delete this current thread just for that wall of text.

And the bits I skim over just seem that you're complaining to Riot as if they were your spouse.

Your fix to your

Post wasn't much if

A fix it just

Electric Synergy,

Riot does have a system in place that scans text in your chat logs. Pre and post-game logs are reviewed individually if a comment is made in the report referencing them. If the system detects a word or phrase deemed bannable, the system acts and gives the appropriate punishment. There is a tier system for these words, and based on the tier and frequency, the system can issue a more severe punishment.

As for deleting the thread, a reason why the thread was deleted should exist by clicking the exclamation point in the upper right corner. They will explain what parts of the thread was the cause for deletion.

I have a question to something you referenced in the previous post. The current punishment system is designed to give you warnings to change your behavior, or if you refuse, to simply leave the game altogether.

  • What makes you think that a month ban would reform the players behavior?

  • Whats to stop them from coming back and being just as toxic as they were before they were banned? After all, a 14 day ban obviously didn't work.

  • They've already been given 3 warning prior why do they deserve to keep playing?

You think about those questions and get back to me.

Here is what normally happens in a permaban. One of the riot employees actually hands out permabans not the machine.

the only thing wrong at the moment is the focus on the chat. you can easily just run into the tower and feed 2-3 kills to the enemy on purpose and then keep playing normal and say it was lagg or something. since this happens all the time you wont get harmed by any of the systems (feed buster or whatever) but you can bet that one of your mates will watch you (especially when you are on bot lane) and think you troll and start calling you bad words. if you report them, they get banned. sure they shouldnt flame all okay but its not okay that you can abuse the system that easy.

10/10.

After the chat has been checked for toxicity, and the check only happens if the reporters had a high enough report value.

and judged by a bot, who will determine the punishment with no sort of logic implemented into its pattern.

There's a known logic: flame, you get punished. Normal flaming: 5 chat bans, 10 chat bans, 2 week ban, permaban. Exceptional flaming: skip tiers (including getting permaban on first offense)

i have no interest in explaining what Permanent bans were wrong in so many ways, and why the current system is not working.

Yep, no interest in trying to do that, because you'd fail.

The effect that came from the new system and riot's new method was very hard to notice.

Confirmation bias.

PARAGRAPHS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AT THE END OF SENTENCE PACKS THAT MAKE INDIVIDUAL SENSE. Not in the middle of nothing.

You might want to save your work in a different document before posting anything online(if that's the only place its saved), for future notice.

Suprisingly, the thread got deleted. i worked so hard and i made a poll and i told them why all permanent bans must be replaced with a month of a ban for this offense, and why the tribunal system must return.

"Must" is your oppinion, there is absolutely no reason why it "must" happen, these players repeatedly remained toxic after multiple warnings and ruined the game for others with their behavior.

On the contrary I have seen many threads of people telling their stories of reform after punishment. And if people don't reform, their behavior is unacceptable to be allowed in the game any further.

I didn't see this til the end, I must say I was somewhat confused until then :P

Also, your poll that you worked so hard on was frustrating because the way it was phrased made it impossible to answer what most of us here thought, which was "Riot had every right to delete your thread". You should really add the options, even if they oppose your goal, or you just look inflexible. Also, that means you cant face that most people might disagree. Sorry I didn't actually notice your original thread.

How in the world do you expect them to handle milions of cases manually? Did u even think before saying such utter nonsense? if it would take them 5 minutes to handle one case. Lets say 1200000 cases monthly, i would take 100 000 hours. Lets say one person work 200 hours monthly, they would need 500 people working fulltime on report cases.
