as a jungler, the "Mute teammate's Ping" mechanic is a nightmare
unsure as to where this exactly goes but i guess this can go for players behavior since it involes them.
recently i did a couple games with the new muting teammates pings system and i did not enjoy the neglect i received as a jungler. the reason i could tell if a player had me muted was lac k of common sense map awareness or they could quite possibly be deaf, in one game i pinged assist on drake since i noticed my mid laner killed his enemy and bot was free pushing there lane since the enemy backed. well no one came. ended up taking drake solo. which was alright but it would have been done a lot sooner since i was level 5 gasping for air as i was being beaten with fireballs. in another game mid laner was whacking enemy turret with enemy mid laner dead. mean while i was literally right at the outer edge of there vision box fighting the enemy jungler literally right behind my mid laner where i a spammed assists. i maxed assists twice during the damn fight! yet still refused to help me. ended up trading but my death would have been avoided. theirs been other moments where i offer blue to my mid where i ping it to attack while he walked by and didn't notice. other moments when my team is chasing a kill when theres an enemy right behind chasing them and it would be a free kill if they were to just turn around. and just end up dying
Now for some Q & A. am i toxic in game? no do i talk shit in champ select? i dont even talk unless i ask for a ban. do i spamm pings as to flame a teammate like a question mark ping for not helping? no
what im getting at is they mute me at the beginning of the game just to be safe im not a spammer which i will not lie, i will spam an assist ping on myself when im asking for help in a 1v1 in your lane brush while you hit tower. maybe its because im in bronze and they have horrible map awareness and fail to pay attention even in team fights. but pings made it so that if they arent looking at the map, they can hear the ping and pay attention. maybe its just a low elo thing. unsure how it is in the higher sky of the ranking. do people ignore you like your that bread corner of that sandwich you ate and doesn't have any mayo so you just toss it, or is there actually a potential teammate that listens to you and is willing to help you play the game?
