An easy and simple way to fix (or at least help) the problems with trolls in queue.

I am writing this after losing a game due to the simple fact that my team had a troll. He showed that he was a troll in queue, and due to the current system set in place, I knew that there was nothing I could do but play the game and pray for a triple afk on the enemy team.

This is why I propose a very simple and easy way to solve (or at the very least, help) the problem of troll teammates in queue. Allow every player just ONE allowance to dodge queue without punishment every month. This would make the game much more enjoyable for everyone, and it doesn't have any real big downsides to it.

By making it so that you can only do this one time a month, the times that people leave due to facing op champs will be few, but it will get you out of a troll game at the least. This would be very easy to implement into the game, and I doubt there would be anyone that would object.

I know that the response from Riot and a good quantity of players would be to report him, so that he gets punished, but the problem is that not everyone reports people like this. He doesn't talk in all chat, but when he does he claims that he's not trolling, so no one on the other team will report, and since he steals kills just to tick you off, it looks as though he's participating. Then, when the game gets a couple of minutes away from ending, he inevitably starts claiming he's not trolling at all. This results in him getting sometimes only one or two reports, and if one of the players he makes angry curses him out, HE'S the one that ends up getting reported and punished.

I think that a "one-dodge rule" is a simple solution (or at least a band aid) to a very large problem that takes a good bit of fun out of the game.

If you agree or disagree with the concept of such a rule, please use the poll.

See the only problem i see is that this will only work for that one match a month. if you are playing constantly then im sure youll encounter a lot more people like this, so it wouldnt be useful if you have say 5-10 matches where there are trolls that you cannot leave because you already used for free dodge a month. So now people would want more freebies maybe making it 5-10 free dodges a month, to the point where there is no penalties. it wouldnt work because people will just claim that one isnt enough, then when they increase the number more people will say its not enough and continue on with that. I understand why they have something like this in place because people dont want to waste possible hours in Champ queues when people will leave the last second. I would hate to wait that long to finally get into a match possibly only to have the game finally start up only to have another troll, afk, feeder, etc. it would be a waste of time.

Then comes into place that something like this should carry over monthly. Like if you dont uses your "Dodge Token" for one month does it carry over and as such you basically have 2 dodges for that month because you didnt use one last month. If thats the case then people will just stop playing so they can build up more "tokens" for that last month of the season to use it and increase their rank (assuming it can be used in Rank matches)

Then we have server problems. What happens if your internet craps out on you in Champ select, or you get hit by bugsplat, or other errors not on your side. Does this take away from your dodge token even though its not your fault. How can Riot system know if it was a legitimate or not? We already know how terrible it is now, why would we want more stress from a system like this.

All in all while a system like this could work, at this point in time there is just more problems it could cause than help. People will always cry for more dodging, or will claim some type of error (whether lying or not) made them leave so they should get their freebie back.

You need one for ever other match in low ELO.

trolls are not stupid. if people leave queue every time they start trolling in pregame they will just wait until the game starts to do their thing. personally id rather it stays the way it is so i can identify and avoid them before the game starts.

It's a nice idea and all... but trolling in pregame are still too rare for that free dodge to be utilized the way you want it to be utilized. The truth is, people would just abuse this to dodge games where they've been outpicked, or where they didn't get their role or (and this is the primary reason why I think it's a bad idea) because of all the additional people that will be actively trying to make somebody dodge after they already used up their one free dodge.

By giving people a better way of dodging, you're also increasing the amount of people that will hold the game hostage by claiming they will troll; simply because it will work a lot better now that people have a free dodge.

And all of this for one game a month per player; most of which won't actually be used to dodge trolls... I'm sorry, it just doesn't sound worth it.

If this happened, somebody could claim that they are gonna troll in champ select if they don't get the champ/role they want in order to get someone to dodge.

Anything that can be abused won't get implemented. Downvoted.

So what are you going to do when you encounter a streak of several troll games? There isnt much that that one free drop will help with in that case.
