Most times what happens here is people are looking for someone other than themselves to blame for a loss, so they assume the worst players were trolling even when they probably weren't.

Also, Riot has said players can't be banned for not playing to the best of their ability or having off-meta tactical choices etc. One can only be punished if they are actively trying to cause a loss.

No, I don't have a Reddit account nor do I browse there. I rarely use Facebook, mostly just using messenger to phone my families overseas, if not browsing sensationalist news outlets and having issues with it though I usually don't comment. I do not use Snapchat. I do not use Line. I do not use Weibo. I do not use Twitter. I do not use Tumblr. Nor do I use Instagram. I do use G+ and comment on youtube, but I haven't done that for the last couple months. I have a phone, and I usually prefer to text and call people with it instead of resorting to social networks.
The closest thing I do to "online social activity" is using the league forum, and using the chatgroup in the game where it's consisted mostly of retired players and inactive accounts. That and, I'm a minor editor in a couple wikia that I occasionally frequent.

It may be harder to get banned from passive aggression given that it isn't as easy as keyword matching that solves most of the generic toxic exhibits, but I'm pretty sure the system does have some of that implemented to detect passive aggression.
