Horrible Reporting System

League of Legends has always been infamous for its horrible reporting system. Why does Riot not listen to their player base? I think the majority of players who play League can mutually agree that the report system is broken. Even top streamers of League have called attention to the problem, but riot has yet to put any effort into improving their reporting system. I have played since S4, and the reporting system has always been a problem. I have played hundreds of games with players legitimately inting or afking and their accounts still are not banned. The youtuber TheLoLHounds has uploaded videos of players intentionally feeding for years, and their accounts do not get banned. The majority of the League player base agrees the system does not work, but It seems that Riot does not care as long as they maintain a reasonable income of money. Riot is taking the easy way out, and trying to reduce this problem by creating insensitive such as the new reward system. But this has not worked in the past, and it will not work now. I think the reporting system could be improved, but Riot is not willing to put in the effort or time, so they keep looking for shortcuts. Please improve this obvious broken system.

I completely agree. I think it should be similar to the surrender system; if someone gets reported by a majority of players, ban them after at least looking at chat logs. Takes all of a few minutes. If you see hate spewed, racism, intentional feeding, AFK, a blatant lack of concern over being reported, and the multitude of other issues you see from toxic people, they should be banned on the spot. Not perma, but short. Like a day max. Also, can we PLEASE limit accounts to one email? It's stupid that people don't care about getting banned simply because they have 2-10 accounts. If not an email, then a debit card, a name, something to prevent the absolutely horrific player base League has drawn in.

Truthfully though, anything shy of perma-ban is totally pointless given multiple accounts. ANYONE can create another email and make a new account; that's completely unfair to the players who WANT to enjoy the game with others as opposed to the ones who get kicks out of being toxic. Even more ridiculous with free champion rotations. There's really no loss in getting anything other than perma-banned, and apparently a perma-ban isn't even permanent; you're apparently given the chance to fix it.

Riot, you're a huge company. You have a tremendous player base, and a vast majority of them are sick of the toxic people you allow to continue ruining the awesome game you've made. I'm sure you're benefitting off the mass of multi-account players, but the quality of the service you offer is absolute crap when it comes to keeping toxic out. I literally JUST left a game with an AFK Zed and a Darius that refused to do anything other than sit in spawn because we refused to surrender. It was a bad game to begin with, but that's no excuse to further ruin it for your team. "report away, idc. Uninstall after, regardless." "Report me, 4 accounts" You DO realize the discipline you've BARELY attempted to instill is a huge joke, right?

You know there are 150+ million players right? Any idea how many reports per day there are? No way they can all be manually checked without it costing too much in manpower wages. The honor system slowly reforming people by rewarding good behavior and punishing bad behavior(getting reported a lot) is the best thing they have done in ages.

8 months ago, old. Already been 15 threads on this. And 15 more threads on people who have inted 1000+ games.
