Hello everyone my name is mimi and today i have something that might be both a good asset to the Community and Riot Games.I hope that Riot Games will review this and maybe take consideration or recommendation in the future.

What is Ban Appeal Interview ? Ban Appeal Interview is a system that lets the player to have another chance of talking to riot to lift their perma ban. This enables you to talk with a riot employee to have them look over the ban and have you discuss why they should give you another chance and see if you deem worthy of showing them your improved behavior. This lets you show your true colors to riot and see whether or not they can trust you.

Why should this be a thing ? Well for starters we know that riot isnt nice on letting banned accounts be unban. We all know that asking nicely wont happen to lift your ban on your account no matter what you say. So this is where this system comes into play, since there hasn't been any challenges or notifications of giving second chances to people except during the old riot age where there used to be a challenge. This like i said again allows you to ask further more and give out second opportunities to people who have been perma banned. Think of this like a challenge or a new leaf. You can start new , and improve your behavior so that you can show riot how much you have matured. Remember Riot Games care about positive behavior and players so if you can show them that, i think they will be very much happy.

Pro's ? Well there are some good things about this. Some are that

  1. You CAN have a CHANCE of riot lifting the ban away from your account 2)This system over-rules Riot Game's favorite quote '&#039'Under no circumstances we will be able to unban accounts' 3)You can at least enjoy the game as a positive player and majority of the players who were perma banned in the past can have a shot of playing on their account again. 4)Gives a Fair oppourtunites for players to reunite with their account and have fun with the game again

Con's

  1. You can only do this once, Results may vary with Riot's Support .
  2. This is a good reminder of being a positive player for the time being while playing league. If you get banned again, Riot will exclude anything related to unbanning your account under certain circumstances that fall in that catagory. You have given a second chance DONT MESS THIS ONE UP
  3. Riot has the power to either lift the ban or not based on their decisions so if you fail, you were given a second chance so please dont cry.
  4. This system isnt 100% Ban lift, like i said it depends on what Riot thinks of this and thinks of you !
  5. Riot will keep a list of people that have tried this, so it would make it less spoil proof for people to abuse this

At Last a message from me, i would hope to ensure that this system can be looked at from a riot employee. I think this is a good idea for players to redeem their wrong doings of what happened in the past. I know Riot follows their rules strictly but however i believe that riot should give players second oppourtunites so that we the players can show them how much we improved. Its been long since Riot has released any challenges pertaining to lifting perma bans. I hope for the very best that we can have future challenges that would give players second chances on ban lifts. This seems extremely impractical to me to the point that I don't even see it as realistic. The number of man hours this would take to accomplish would be astronomical.

They also already tested something similar where they hand picked some permanently banned players to give another chance and 95% reoffended. So I seriously doubt there will be any significant benefit in the end.

This may be insignificant however this at least give others a new chance. I Understand your point and yes some will just go back to where they are, but for most they probably will be a positive player from now on. it depends eveyone has different outcomes

But... They don't need a new chance. If they got in trouble, they already used up said chance(s).

Just because you say they dont need this , others do. If they get in trouble they have the right to appeal it. and this was just a thought process.

No, they don't have the right to appeal it. The very fact they got the ban means they deserved it. This just wastes other people's time.

Yes they do, What type of game wouldnt give the people the right to talk to the support staff and have problems fixed out? Saying they dont have the right to appeal it is just like not giving someone a chance to talk about their wrong doing.

No. Punishments go: 5 game chat restriction -> 25 game chat restriction -> 3 week ban -> permanent ban. If you still can't learn your lesson after that many warnings, you deserve it. Of course, punishment tiers can be skipped if you deserve it by being extremely harassing/rude/etc, but obviously, in that case, you still deserve it. So no, they don't deserve it, because they already have gotten sufficient warning and they chose to not heed it.

In addition, it's listed in the ToC that Riot Games can terminate your account or suspend it/delete it/etc whenever they want without any notification to you or liability. It is their property, you are simply being lent ownership of it. lol

I think your estimates of its effectiveness are greatly overblown especially considering we have the results of a very similar program.

It's not just "some" going back. It is 95%. That is 95 people who are going to diminish games for others with that chance all so 5 repeat or severe offenders can get another chance. To me, that is not even close to a worthwhile return.

lol no. If someone got a permanent ban, they deserved it. End of story. They don't deserve any chance of coming back. Why? They either immediately screwed up bad enough to be instantly permanently banned, or, got multiple lower-ranking punishments that were their last warning(s).

Its what you think. some people get banned and have never commit to those or recieved warnings, trust me it has happen before. Like i said even though they screwed up they at least have the right to speak it out. Thanks for your opinion

That's just it, the people that get skipped straight to a permanent ban means that they've done something severe enough that simply removing their account altogether would be better than any attempt at rehabilitation. It's not a "Oh, they were toxic. Well, they can send in a support ticket and talk about it and maybe have their punishment lessened or be given another chance". Like if you repeatedly tell people to kill themselves throughout games, you deserve to be permanently banned. There are people out there that are already on the verge of suicide and that might be what tilts them to follow through with it. But even if they weren't, that's never an okay thing to do. Hate speech is never an okay thing. Knowingly and willingly using illegal programs or cheats to climb ranks or intentionally ruining the experience for others is never an okay thing to do.

People already have the ability to speak out about their case, and lots of players do. That's what a majority of the threads in this sub-forum are. People pleading their case to Riot and to the public. Alternatively, people choose to send in a support ticket as an appeal. They explain their situation and a Rioter responds with a judgement. That is essentially what you're asking for. Whether or not you formalize it with a resource expensive system like this, the outcome will remain unchanged. Those that have racked up enough repeated offenses (I can guarantee you that even the people skipped to immediate permaban have done their action in more than one game), will have their permaban remain as is. Those that were unjustly permabanned (like the thread where someone was flagged for 3rd party programs, but it was during the time when their account was hacked) then it will be overturned and they'll get it back.

It sounds to me like what you're really wanting it for Riot to give players with a permanent ban an extra extra chance in which case, from every possible angle, they do not deserve one. Seeing as how you're posting from a level 5 account with C9 in the name, I assume you have enough background with the game that this isn't your first account and that your original one was permabanned. If you want another chance, start from scratch like every other major offender and don't get your new account permabanned. Understand the impact that negativity has on the community and what it does to the people that have to experience it.

Actually no , this is just my smurf account. and my main one isnt perma banned lol its a silver account. Anyways back what i was saying this isnt for me and this is just for the community. You are free to what you say but dont assume about people that isnt true. If you dont have anything nice to say about people directly keep it to yourself i only wanted feed back.
