Yea sure all chat is in other competitive games as well and has been for a long while, and so is fucking Voice Chat since you won't add it.

Speak for yourself - I hardly ever see toxicity from the enemy team. Most of the time we use it for banter and to have a laugh pre-game. If you don't like it turn it off for yourself.
Why ruin it for everyone? You have the option to turn it off for yourself as well as fullmute everyone every game...
He is asking to have chat turned off permanently, forever, with a switch in the options menu. I for one would love this. Its annoying to have to keep muting all at the start of the game. It would be easier to allow me, If I want to, to switch off chat indefinitely
isn't allchat disabled by default these days?
pretty sure you have to opt-in to all chat to begin with...
