Its been over 4-5 months since i got banned and im only at check point 1 and its slowing my progress i get no keys i have to buy them i can not get champions unless i level up skins also please help me.

When you do, though, you'll probably find games to be boring.

The time really doesn't matter.

How you move forward in honours:

Play lots of games
don't get validly reported
get honors
get team honor bonus

Most people mess up on step #2. They think they are doing well, but in fact they still are getting validly reported.

According the the automated system the only non-valid reports is when you quite literally don't type anything at all. Few games ago I had GP as my ADC and I stated that I think its a bad pick considering the meta where ADC is by far the most important position. We won the game, GP did well, I had 200 ping all game long and had like a 2 10 9 score and he said I was "toxic af" and reported me... I got chat ban 5 days ago and it just expired so I guess I should permamute everyone so the games like the GP one don't slow down my progress, just idk how I will get honors that way. Its so fucking contradicted its not even real... I miss earlier seasons where bans didn't affect anything but your chat or ability to go ranked. Now I am paranoid of false reports and have to pretend to be nice to even the biggest of morons and assholes just so I can get 1 fucking key fragment, its so frustrating and unfun...

Your definition of toxic is probably different than what the community thinks is toxic. So you think what you are typing is fine, but others actually will find it offensive and you have no idea why it is offensive.

If you want, you can post your chat logs (probably in a new thread) and we can help you understand what you are doing wrong.

If you no longer have your chat logs, you can contact http://support.riotgames.com and ask them to provide you with your chat logs.

Nah my chat ban was ok since I really got angry 1 game at a troll and I just snapped and insulted him like 50 times. What I am talking about is being paranoid from guys like this GP. I quite literally, word for word, wrote "why didn't you pick a real ADC man, its season 8 and you pick GP, I don't think its a very good pick" . If that is extremely toxic, then everyone should be permabanned right now , even Jesus himself. I know that GP's report is total bullshit, but I don't know what the automated system might randomly find to be flaming, we have seen people that got chat ban while writing like "gg" once in the entire game. Who knows...

Yeah what Riot is saying is that you shouldn't use chat for anything that isn't explicitly positive. You cant disagree with anybody or justify your reasoning in chat if you don't want to be validly reported. Basically just be a robot that only outputs positivity in your games. You literally can't even be rude to people regardless of how they are treating you without facing possible punishment from the system.

How could anyone answer that poll? We don't know your behavior buddy. Getting reported for valid reasons, but not getting punished for it, will drastically slow your progress. So if you're doing any arguing/debating with people in games, your gonna stay where you're at for a long time.

Patch 8.6, they're making it easier to regain Honor. However, if you've gone 4+ months with little progress, it's likely you're in the negative, but not punishable, range with your behavior. Calling for reports, ending games with ggez or bg, etc. Little, minor things that don't seem "that bad" but still leave a negative experience for your teammates.
