Why do laners feel the need to spam ping for ganks if the jungler is really low?

I mean seriously, I have 40% health and the enemy is almost at full HP. Just wait for 30 seconds so I can fully recover and return to help you.

No, summoner 14 me doesn't regenerate my health faster in the jungle. It applies grievous wounds.

my top laner was spamming pings i was at wraits and i was about to but spam ?????? but instead i noticed mid head top to gank. these pings are general not always at the jungler. so i was able to hold mid for a little gather exp level up then when mid came back i went bot for a gank.
