LeaverBuster and disconnects
I understand that AFKing during games is a punishable offense, and that doing it purposefully and often should be punished. However, I think it is unfair that when you have legitimate disconnects or God forbid, a crash, during play and attempt to get back into the game as soon as possible, that LeaverBuster will punish you anyway, and with longer and longer queues. From my experience now, AFK-ing even 3 times in a week due to this problem is punishable, which seems extreme. I can't help that Comcast is my only internet provider and refuses to fix my connection despite multiple calls. I don't think it is fair to punish me for this. Because of my connection, I don't play ranked and try to minimize my impact as much as possible by not playing when I know my connection is unstable. It is frustrating to see LeaverBuster giving me 20 minute waits for a "lower priority" queues when in all other aspects of the game, I am a model player. I am generally positive, never flame, and try to support my team as much as possible. I take responsibility when we lose. It's as if Riot just wants anybody with an internet connection that is not 100% reliable to quit the game. I love playing this game and have spent a fair amount of money on it, which makes it even more frustrating that I get punished. At this point, I am strongly considering doing so.
TL;DR
Punishing those who have legitimate reasons for AFK-ing/disconnecting seems unfair if they are otherwise model players.
