I just got banned and did not receive a reason in the email. It only said that I violated the summoners code. I was banned for 2 weeks and I'm not sure for what. I opened a ticket to just ask for an explanation, but its been 48 hours with no response. Is it Riots policy to not provide the specific reason for bans?
they will when you submitted your support ticket... it takes some time to get to I mean they have 100 million players... a lot of people are banned. be patient
If I were you I would close the ticket and just accept the punishment..... let me explain. They never actually reverse bans on anything that is borderline bad behavior (you would have to be totally 100 percent innocent). But alternatively, they can worsen your punishment. FYI, I once sent in a support ticket for an explanation and they upgraded the 2 week ban to a perma ban. So I would say there is nothing to gain, and something to lose.
I can tell you that if you got a 2 week ban it because a RIOTer did a manual review of the account for one of the following:
AFK, intentional feed, or verbal harrasment (in pre lobby, after game lobby, or ingame- that didnt trigger the automated ban)
So yah, close the ticket as resolved and just accept the punishment. Also, never ever deposit money in any account you create in the future or any game they develop in the future.
You have to be careful in league now you and break the rules swear and harass people as long as it doesn't meet a number of lines of chat in game. You also can be banned for not breaking code just having typed too many lines of text. These bans can even be perm bans.
