This probably sounds like another "OMG IM BANNED RITO PLS" thread, but please hear me out.

Until today, I think my behaviour has never really been far out of line, except for a few salty all chats every now and then, but this game I was already a bit sad because of a roflstomp loss from last game. Alas, i got caught out in my jungle as Rengar, who i'm trying to learn, and what followed were a few unfortunate deaths and a salty botlane.

I tried my best to come back, but just kept dying. We were really behind and my team didn't want to surrender, so i just kinda kept going as best as I could, but you may understand i might not be playing to the best of my abilities at that moment. I kinda gave up and just kept playing a bit mindlessly because I felt really distraught.

The game ended with me 0/16/3, but this was NOT INTENTIONAL. It was just a sad coincidence of circumstances and now I'm suddenly banned, which makes me even sadder than I already was. I feel like my salty botlane just got me banned for little reason. Heck, the enemy jungler even honored me.

Another strange thing is that I received the suspension 10 MINUTES after the game, and the mail clearly stated: "You have received a 14-day suspension for intentional feeding following **an extensive audit ** of your in-game behavior"

To me this ban just feels entirely unfair, especially since i've not gotten a single warning in the past months. Heck i've never gotten chat restrictions. EVER. I mean sure, my behaviour wasn't good this game, but I'm only human.

Can anyone from Riot please respond to why i suddenly go this ban? Also, is there any way to check if your account is on some sort of watchlist or something, because i'm VERY scared of losing my account and would be absolutely gutted if i got permabanned over another single game. I dont want to play every game in fear of losing my account just because some salty players might want to report me.

You can be perma-banned over a single game if you're toxic again, yes. That would probably only happen if the game was in the five or so after your ban. I will tell you that the matches counted for intentional feeding go back months. They track how often you feed, and when you make a habit of it you're banned. There are no chat restrictions for intent. feeding, it's just an instant 2 week ban. If you don't feed anymore, you won't receive a permanent ban.

Probably best to submit a support ticket. You did feed really hard, way more so than anyone else, but it also looks to be one game, and the enemy team was higher rank overall, and enemy rengar was plat v. Sometimes people just tilt that hard, it happens.

Sometimes when people are salty they report and I don't really feel like Riot actually looks into the report.

Tbh the intentional feeding report is pretty stupid and imo should not be acted on unless there is proof the person was dying intentionally. If someone is trying but has a really bad game, any salty teammates can report them for intentional feeding and riot will look at the score and think it is true.

So after looking through everything that you gave... I'm personally of the opinion that this ban was entirely deserved. Now, I apologize in advance if I am wrong, though I'm going to stand by my opinion due to the information that the match you linked provided me.

  • You died, on average, nearly once every two minutes, with less than a quarter kill participation despite the fact that you were jungling, and in combat a lot (due to the high amount of deaths)
  • You built Runeglaive and Zhonyas on Rengar. There is no plausible explanation for this, other than you wanted to mess with your teammates. (EDIT: You did build normally for Rengar, but then you sold all of your items except for boots at the 31:50 mark and bought Runeglaive and Zhonyas. Still really fishy)

On the other hand, all of the other information in the stats seems pretty normal, most of your deaths were within your own jungle, none of them under enemy turrets, etc. The one thing that makes me think that you did this intentionally was the obscene number of deaths. You accounted for nearly half of your team's deaths. After dying like, the fifth time, most people would not continue fighting, or going in alone. I find it hard to believe that only one person on your team was getting caught out as much as you were, which leads me to believe you were going in alone, over and over again. While that in it of itself isn't punishable, the fact that you continued to do it for the rest of the game raises eyebrows. Keep in mind, my opinion means nothing, but looking at it from where I am, that's just my two cents.

If he was banned over this game for intentionally feeding, I think it wasn't warranted.

It is really obvious he had a bad game, he got killed early as rengar probably from an invade. and never really managed to catch up.

Lets be honest here too, what else does rengar really bring to a team comp? especially if he is way behind. He basically turns into cannon fodder. I mean the enemy team had champions that you probably wouldn't play rengar into anyway. Azir? yeah. no thanks. Lucian? No. Blitz? hell no. The enemy rengar was duo'd with their top laner. Which is where the most of his deaths came from. This is also a Norms / Team Builder match, so I'm not holding that against someone who is trying out a champion they aren't too familiar with.

I'm not saying that other circumstances may have been involved here, like him flaming his team mates or something. I just don't think he did this intentionally. his deaths are almost ALL in his side of the map, in his jungle. The ward counts look like he didn't get much help form his team mates either.

There are also several deaths that look like he was trying to make a play at dragon.

I mean the Olaf died 10 times, is that too many?

I think the increase in the bans for this type of behavior is actually the result of Poro King. A lot of people seemed really salty in that mode, so much so that I quit playing it.

I had one friend who was playing PoroKing as Karthus...He would always have the most deaths on either team like 20-30 a match. His strategy was literally to always go in and weaken the enemies. He won 65% of his games, and ALWAYS had the most damage every game. He said he had to quit playing Karthus though because he was getting reported too much.
