Does the in game report system even work?

I would just like to say that the in game reporting system usually does not ban the offender for example i uploaded a thread on this same category but it was removed because it was too "targetive" i believe that the person who griefed my last recent game will just happily continue playing the game doing her thing which is trolling. Furthermore because she is in the same elo as me i will continue to find this player who will just consistently keep trolling my games; which ruins my in game experience. Why can i not speak directly speak to riot about this summoner but instead it works via a bot which sees if he fed or not and either if they flamed or not. I have invested much time and money in to this game, thus allowing me to inform the riot headquarters about this individual but instead they dont do anything about it... Well thanks for reading just another dude talking about a multi millionaire company who can do what ever the f*** they want. Probably they will just end up deleting this post which is just great.

You don't get to ban people just by reporting them for one game, it takes a history of negative behavior for the system to build a case against them and punish. As long as you report accurately your reports will contribute to that case so they can be punished; if you happen to be the report which triggers the review and punishment that is when you receive a notification for it.

RTFM on the reporting system . You're not the first person to think 'OMG, I clicked report and didn't get a pop up with "THEY ARE BANNED! We have kidnapped them and enslaved them in our Siberian fortress until the end of time and put bamboo shoots in their nails.' lol The system works. You don't see the pop up a lot which could be improved, but if they are continuously doing whatever. Likely they'll get caught.

you'll only receive a notification if your game was the one that punished them, not while it is building a case. Certainly not when they get punished in the future.

But the system does work. Look at all these people complaining about their punishment everyday!
