Racism in a normal game

Hi,

my name is Dirk (account name: FeliciaChantai). I would like to ask a few people their opinion about these 3 players. But first, let me tell how the game started. We joined the game (Shyvana top, Swain mid, Olaf jungle, Jhin Adc and Ryze Support), and I was the jungler). The first 9 minutes I just farmed, because the lanes were pushed in most of the time and I wanted to get level 6 as quick as possible. But Jhin lost lane hard versus Sona+Draven, so he decided to troll me and just chase me through the jungle, trying to steal all my camps. Then is when it really started: I asked the enemies to report jhin for griefing (= negative attitude). And then I noticed he had 2 friends in this game: Swain and Shyvana.

They started calling me racial slurs, and just offend me in general. After the game they reported me for being racist. (Please can a Riot-member check this game too. Account: FeliciaChantai, <removed by moderation>)

I am now going to add all the screenshots I made, to get these racists banned as quick as possible (that's ofcourse what should happen in my opinion. I understand if your opinion is different).

Hey there. Sorry you ran into that (and I hope you reported them in-game if you feel they were being racist), but we don't allow players to call out other players on the Boards. As such I've edited the screenshot and identifying game information out of your post.

Do note that Riot takes racism VERY seriously, so if you reported them there's a high chance the system has already dealt with them.

You can totally post screenshots if the names are obscured, yep! Just don't call out the specific game or their name. :)

I personally think that someone's skincolor is not important in a game (and none of someone else's business).

how is asking "are you black" racist?

It's inappropriate at the least.

I personally would not report for 'just' that remark but It would make me pay more attention to the chat and play coming from that same player.

Again, at the least it is an unnecessary and unneeded piece of information that Should Not be asked if it was a neutral situation.

Yes, that is pretty crappy of them !

Now your not going to like what I say next but when this happens, players really need to mute and finish the game. I do 'get' how hard it is at times !

Please, understand I'm not trying to diminish or shame you. Shame on them honestly. Good Luck with this, send in a 'support ticket' there I believe you can include your screen shots and such, as that is private to Riot, just not on the boards :)
