Typically you move up a path of escalating punishments in order;

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day account ban Permanent account ban

I don't remember getting ANY of these punishments - ive been playing for almost 5 years without any serious problems and have spent A LOT of money on skins.

I admit I was somewhat toxic in these games - but the severe level of punishment WITHOUT prior warning is NOT acceptable. Also, I don't think what i said while I was flaming is not so bad compared to what I see in the average league match.

THIS IS OVERKILL:

This is ridiculous. If that's your first offense, then I should think it would be deserving of a week of chat restriction at most. I see far worse than that on a regular basis. Unfortunately, moderators have subjective judgement and your case was likely handled by some overly zealous, thin-skinned, new hire on a zero-tolerance mission to "clean up the community". I recommend you appeal the case.

While I don't personally have issues controlling my emotions and I rarely use any profanity whatsoever, I don't take pleasure in others' punishment. The vindictiveness of the league community makes me sick. To be quite honest, I don't think there should be punishments for "offensive language". Riot should just keep track of reports and match "verbally abusive" players together so that they can either enjoy the company of kindred spirits or get a taste of their own medicine, depending on your perspective...

I will say that you should learn something from this. Even though I wouldn't be offended by your language, I would be frustrated by your "gg no tank, ff@20, dont waste my time" attitude. I wouldn't want to have you on my team if you acted like that. No one player has a right to demand a forfeit. You should change your behavior, but you shouldn't be permanently banned.

its a ranked game man. i would do 1-2 surrender votes if i am feeling like crap in the game, but i will still play and not AFK. probably why i still have my account. Also i dont taunt the Riot gods who review my report.

if you submit a ticket through support and actually talk to them like a normal person instead of being just frustrated and demanding, they actually back off a bit. Sometimes they jump to a perma ban to shock people. then those people they try to express shock sometimes come very aggressively at the reviewers. and then the banned account stays banned.

You went an off meta pick, you should have muted them.

The hypocrisy. You said "%%%got", instaban.

Besides all that, telling by the attitude of game 1, you should be permanently banned, start again with a fresh attitude and kinder demeanor.

Riot Games Terms of Use § 5.1

"The Code of Conduct is not meant to be exhaustive, and we reserve the right to modify it at any time, as well as take appropriate disciplinary measures including account termination and deletion to protect the integrity and spirit of the Riot Services, regardless of whether a specific behavior is listed in the policy as inappropriate."

Riot can permaban you at any time for any reason. They kind of own the game and you did agree to the terms of use when you made the account, regardless of whether or not you actually read them. There is nowhere in the terms that dictates an escalation of punishment as mandatory.
