Typically you move up a path of escalating punishments in order;

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day account ban Permanent account ban

I don't remember getting ANY of these punishments - ive been playing for almost 5 years without any serious problems and have spent A LOT of money on skins.

I admit I was somewhat toxic in these games - but the severe level of punishment WITHOUT prior warning is NOT acceptable. Also, I don't think what i said while I was flaming is not so bad compared to what I see in the average league match.

The truth is that if there was a bot lets say, that searched the logs of every game and then banned people for saying what i said - a whole LOT of accounts would be banned.

Now i'm not saying that that makes for a good excuse - I made a mistake and should have been punished. But NOT this severely.

I'm being targeted by the community and punished so heavily NOT because of the use of a stupid homophobic slur, which I regret (like i said i respect all people, and have gay friends / family ext...), but i am instead being TARGETED because of what i said with regard to not caring about being banned.

The severity of this ban is spiteful

Bullshit. Look around on the forums and try to find other cases where people got a 14-day (and sometimes permaban) ban out of the blue, and try to find similarities. The thing they have in common isn't that they claim to not care about being banned... the thing they have in common are slurs.

It absolutely is the reason you were punished so heavily.

Its called hyperbole, although in retrospect maybe I was being honest.

I don't really feel emotionally impacted at all, in that sense i don't care - but i am intrigued.

The severity of this ban is curious, i think it was done out of spite. I understand that I made a mistake - but I think there is something to be observed about human behavior, and its fascinating to me.

Also I question the legitimacy of the banning process - if the user base is responsible for carrying out banns ext, they have jurisdiction to ban based on sub-cultural norms, instead of user agreement.

Normally this shouldnt matter to much, except there is real economy here - league makes too much money to allow for immature uncouth user driven punishment.

Not sure if i'm going to play any more - I spent a lot of cash and a lot of years on this game - and for them to just take it away for 2 games where I was bm sorta tilted me - i wish you all the best though - please carry on in the way of the lulu

You can try to dispute the ban but they very rarely ever overturn a permaban unless they determine it was an error.

I will say that it is extremely unlikely that your got permabanned for only two games though unless you were making death threats or something. The report card generally shows random games as examples of behavior that got you punished, but other reports get accounted for.

A support ticket is the most reliable way to actually get a response. You may get one here but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Now I read your thread a little more and if this was honestly the first punishment you ever got I'd say it's definitely unusual you went straight to a permaban, even if you called people %%%gots or threatened to afk. The only case I could imagine someone going straight from 0 to perma would be someone threatening to kill people IRL.

I definitely recommend opening a support ticket. At the very least you might get some sort of explanation of something the example logs didn't show us if they don't consider the perma an error. Even if you get unbanned though you seriously need to take a look at your current behavior and realize if you keep it up you will eventually get permabanned anyways.

Riot Games Terms of Use § 5.1

"The Code of Conduct is not meant to be exhaustive, and we reserve the right to modify it at any time, as well as take appropriate disciplinary measures including account termination and deletion to protect the integrity and spirit of the Riot Services, regardless of whether a specific behavior is listed in the policy as inappropriate."

Riot can permaban you at any time for any reason. They kind of own the game and you did agree to the terms of use when you made the account, regardless of whether or not you actually read them. There is nowhere in the terms that dictates an escalation of punishment as mandatory.

I think very few people are legitimately stupid, but political discussion aside, what I really think is stupid is when people try their hardest to be offended by something that was in no respect insulting. You twist my words in such a way as to make yourself feel more justified in your aggression, which is just asinine.

You know for a fact that I didn't call you a PoS, because it was clearly there written in front of you and everyone to read but you wanted to pretend that I'm insulting you so you could feel like you're the one being oppressed by people who're part of the problem, but that's not how it works.

You got banned. You got banned for something you know you can get banned for. No questions asked, you did something that you knew you'd be punished for doing and you're somehow surprised that it happened.

You're not dumb, you're angry, but you're angry at the wrong people. Riot didn't force you into a situation that would get you banned, that's all on you. So the only person you can be angry with is yourself.

This is ridiculous. If that's your first offense, then I should think it would be deserving of a week of chat restriction at most. I see far worse than that on a regular basis. Unfortunately, moderators have subjective judgement and your case was likely handled by some overly zealous, thin-skinned, new hire on a zero-tolerance mission to "clean up the community". I recommend you appeal the case.

While I don't personally have issues controlling my emotions and I rarely use any profanity whatsoever, I don't take pleasure in others' punishment. The vindictiveness of the league community makes me sick. To be quite honest, I don't think there should be punishments for "offensive language". Riot should just keep track of reports and match "verbally abusive" players together so that they can either enjoy the company of kindred spirits or get a taste of their own medicine, depending on your perspective...

I will say that you should learn something from this. Even though I wouldn't be offended by your language, I would be frustrated by your "gg no tank, ff@20, dont waste my time" attitude. I wouldn't want to have you on my team if you acted like that. No one player has a right to demand a forfeit. You should change your behavior, but you shouldn't be permanently banned.

I'd say a 14 day ban would be reasonable in this case. Delete this thread. Apologize. Submit a ticket. And, most importantly, CHANGE THIS GODDAMN ATTITUDE.

Trash talking your team is never ok. Using homophobic slurs is never fine. And taunting the Riot employee who's going to manually review your case is downright stupid.

By the way, I'd avoid picking ADC Top Lulu with smite and ignite to then complain how someone who decided to pick Lee Sin is not adapting to the team. Common cortesy states that the one picking the off-meta/troll pick is the one who should adapt.

They are doing what they think is best to promote a good environment as FTP attracts a lot of lack luster behavior.

its a ranked game man. i would do 1-2 surrender votes if i am feeling like crap in the game, but i will still play and not AFK. probably why i still have my account. Also i dont taunt the Riot gods who review my report.

if you submit a ticket through support and actually talk to them like a normal person instead of being just frustrated and demanding, they actually back off a bit. Sometimes they jump to a perma ban to shock people. then those people they try to express shock sometimes come very aggressively at the reviewers. and then the banned account stays banned.

Sorry but the "I spent money on the game" argument doesn't work since both paying and non-paying players are treated exactly the same. From the Tribunal FAQ:

Do paying players get leniency? Paying customers are treated exactly the same a non-paying customers by the Tribunal.
