Is anyone at Riot doing anything about this guy and his group that is abusing the IFS? Below is his original post. Myself and my friends have encountered this guys goons on multiple occasions... Is anyone tracking this guy down to stop him? He is publishing this stuff around various league related places and getting a lot of people to follow him and break the rules.

Please excuse the length of this post, I am trying to include details to help you understand why I have done what I have done and what can be done to prevent it from happening again as I do plan on releasing all of this information to the public in forums and areas that Riot cannot control (certainly Riot will delete this post to save face). I believe it is of the utmost importance that we all understand what happened here and the root cause of the contributing issues. This is my complete confession regarding what I have done to the players of this game directly and indirectly through my proxies. I omit nothing and testify that this post is a complete and accurate description of what I have done to exploit and abuse the Instant Feedback System. As a side note I just want to state directly to Tantrum that I have foreseen your response to the actions I have taken and I can guarantee the system you have deployed to “log all accounts” participating in this behavior will be combat ineffective. If my operatives follow my instructions exactly your success rate will be less than 10%. I will continue to modify my strategy to evade your system, it was a big mistake admitting this here. The automated report system is the reason for all of this mess and that is what I am trying to change for everyone’s benefit.
I am here to tell you a story. My story. I am directly responsible for what happened in this thread, although I was not the person that baited the victim personally in this case. I am however personally although indirectly responsible for literally thousands of baited bans in this game across all regions over the past two years. First a little background about myself. This will help you understand how and why I did this. And “this” is much bigger than you all realize, Riot employees like Tantrum included. The scale of my actions are likely unprecedented in the gaming community in respect to the methods and techniques I have employed here. I started off grifting as a youngster. Moved on to conning from there. Had a close call with the law, and I mean real close. Narrowly avoided a few decades in the federal pen, lost everything I had in order to get out somewhat clean. Decided to go legit, went into IT security. Worked for a few fortune 500’s. Got bored of that and moved into day trading.
Through all of this life experience I learned how to do two things very well. #1 Collect and analyze data at a high rate of speed and accuracy #2 Create and execute a plan of action to achieve desired result My skills have served me well. Even though I am not close to retirement yet I work only a few hours a week and am comfortable. Due to this I have a lot of spare time and income. Time that I wish to use productively to not only enjoy life, but to contribute improvements to the things I love. One of those things is this game. At some point in time Riot changed over from the tribunal to the automated system or IFS as it is commonly known. The reasons were clearly stated and I am not sure if the player base bought into it, but it is not like they had any choice. Since this change we have all heard the same stories over and over.
Both in person and here on the boards. The general feeling is that the real hardcore trolls get away with it while those negatively affected react using the chat feature in the client. And then BOOM, ban hammer arrives. And the trolls get away free and clear for the most part. I am proof of this, although I have gone through many $1 ebay league accounts I feel the price is well worth it. I can get somewhere between fifty and one hundred bans before I lose a $1 account. Remember the Korean player with 1000+ losses and 0 wins on TK? And 1000 wins and 0 losses on Yi? How many months were players posting about it on the boards before something was done? Remember the Bronze 5 Teemo with 2000+ games with a 100% win rate, and 2000+ games on Heimer with a 0% win rate? Two seasons before action was taken, Thousands of games and tens of thousands of players personally affected. Nothing was done… After all the automated system is handling things right?
When we see situations like this and also experience blatant trolls, racists, and other offenders and do not get that IFS popup we feel defeated and powerless. We complain on the boards or using support tickets and we are told that the situation is being handled (I remember several support tickets regarding players who spammed the N word and months later, still playing.). But no details can be revealed due to privacy issues which is understandable. Subsequently we check the offenders match history and there is no gap in their play history even for zero tolerance offenses. This leaves players feeling extremely defeated and powerless and drags the rest of the community down to the toxic players’ level. I believe this is what the malefactors wish for. So I decided to use my skills and experience to help improve this situation. At first I tried to give Riot feedback directly. I was blatantly ignored as many others have stated. Riot was just too big to listen or did not care. I am not sure which. My next course of action was as follows. In any attempt to exploit or abuse a system it helps to have the system documentation. None exists in this case so I decided to create my own. Here is how I did it.
#1 Obtained commercially available bot leveling software (you know the bots Riot does nothing about for the most part #2 Created some new accounts and spun up some virtual machines. #3 Modified the bots to use certain chat phrases in chat and report each other after game #4 Obtained trigger words that would guarantee a zero tolerance trigger on the IFS #5 Frequently retested the system for updates from AWS to mask my identity and location #6 Automated all of this and received updates via email on trigger words Once I had the required data I used tricks like the one described here to get people banned. I had a good time doing it by myself as I got over 200 bans (at least 70 of them confirmed permas) in the first month by myself back in January of 2016. I never got caught so I blatantly tried to get caught. I would say KYS twice because I knew the system required it three times in order to trigger a ban (with no other toxic games on record). I started buying botted accounts in bulk to run more tests, at one point I was able to buy 50 level 30 accounts for $9 on ebay. Rarely did these accounts if ever get banned. Even so, it seemed I just never got caught no matter how much verbal baiting, intentional feeding, trolling, intentional losing, or other non verbal cussword violations I performed. At one point I was running 10 bots on VM’s in ARAM just chatting through them trying to get banned without cusswords. It rarely happened, maybe 1 out of 20 accounts ever got it. And it required a huge amount of chat.
After some time something magical happened. Friends and strangers started noticing I could get people banned. Toxic people, bad people. No one else could get it done it seemed, only me. So they started asking me how I did it. This is when things changed. I realized I could build an army. An army of followers to do my bidding for me. I started training people on how to manipulate and exploit the IFS. This worked pretty well with only a few people who did not follow my precise instructions getting hit with bans. But then I noticed something… people were losing interest and getting bored. Drawing upon the Ponzi schemes of past and present I built a foundation of perceived financial gains from getting people falsely banned. I told people that player behavior tickets are handled by a third party called VMC corporation. More bans handed out would equal more player behavior tickets for this contractor and hence more money for them. So VMC started a bounty program. $40 per ban, payable after the first 50 bans. The first time I told some random kid this he went nuts and followed my instructions. He really thought he was going to get paid for tricking people into getting banned. By January of 2017 I had 14 people believing this and sending me up to 100 screenshots per day of ban popups. I would verify the players reported as banned stopped playing using their match history. It was working and I could not believe it.
Subsequently to further this system I told the individuals (operatives) working for me that they could receive referral incentives up to 50% of the $40 ban fee for anyone they recruited. I made a fake application form for the Riot contractor VMC (yes, they really outsource these tickets) that looked pretty legit so I could string along my operatives for a longer period of time. I organized the operatives into cells where they never came into contact with one another so Riot couldn’t hit all of them with a ban wave. When a few operatives would slip up and get banned I would hand out my $1 level 30 ebay accounts. When people would complain about not getting paid I would send them a Riot RP Card. It was amazing how long I could string them along getting 5 to 20 bans per day with a simple gift card. To my knowledge most of them still believe they are going to get paid and over the last week I have confirmed about 80 bans per day on average. At my peak in August had over 70 operatives operational in 23 cells. Since that time I have got bored of doing this because I could not get any recognition for it. I could not change the system. Riot had stood fast and firm and I was defeated.
Then something magic happened for the second time. This. thread. The most pathetic part of this entire situation is that I have found and documented at least 27 threads on this board as a result of my cells and operatives. Most were deleted as rage posts. Some were down voted or ignored. Finally this one gets Tantrum’s attention. I cannot prove that I have over 2000 documented bans as the censorship on the related information would take too long and honestly it has taken me long enough to write this but I will provide proof of some to give you an idea. I have no idea why the previous posts didn’t get any attention as many people in this thread have claimed to witness this behavior. It just mystifies me. I guess that is the result of automating your banning system while pretending to enforce rules and standards of behavior.
So now what? I have highlighted the vulnerabilities of Riot’s system including its ability to be exploited and abused on a massive scale. Certainly Riot will deny this or outright delete my post. I am hoping to produce a change in the system instead of a band aid for one certain behavior which is what Tantram is doing here. Your chat filter for ban baiting will not work my friend. The problem here is the same problem that occurs in all warfare situations, the attackers have the advantage. In this case we know how you plan to address this “problem” as opposed to fixing the system as a whole. With this knowledge and the distributed worldwide nature of my cell and operative structure there is not anything you can do to have a meaningful impact on my actions. Combine that with my ability to obtain level 30 accounts for $1 cents each, my disposable income, spare time, and motivation to change this ridiculous automated banning system and you have a recipe for disaster. Mr. Riot Tantram, I do applaud your efforts and working weekends to put a stop to this. Unfortunately for you it is going to take a lot more manpower and resources to even put a dent in what I have done. You might as well redesign the system from scratch as the resources required will be on par with that. Feel free to implement your band aids. I welcome you as a worthy opponent as the gauntlet has now been dropped.
