Perma Ban

Recently my main account has been perma banned. I was away from the account over Spring Break and a week or two leading up to it. While away my account was being used by someone and it is now banned for behavior. I do not understand how someone like me who has never had problems in the past can be perma banned. I am in the process of talking to RIOT and seeing if I can get my account back. My thoughts is change your password every month or so. I hate to see an account I have been playing for 3 years get taken away. Not only that but I have put a lot of meney into this account. Before I left I had bought $50 worth of RP that I didnt even get to use. Aside from all the skins I had bought over the past year or so. I'd love to hear some more thoughts on the matter. If the account was used without your permission then you have a chance.(slim chance) But account sharing is not allowed, and it is still your responsibility to handle password security.

Also, "my account was hack, that wasn't me being toxic!" is a classic excuse that some trolls use to try and get out of punishment.

Not saying thats the case here, but ... you know, keep that in mind when you get Riot's response.

Also it is AGAINST THE RULES, to allow someone else to use your account. Account sharing is a part of the terms of use.

If you let someone use your account. You deal with the consequences of what they do to it. You don't lend your car out to someone and tell the Insurance company to give you a break because you lent it out.
