Banned for boosting

My account, birthwr0ng, was banned for eloboosting recently. I'm in the Marine reserve and so I live in Texas and go other places in the US for small amounts of time. The only time I've played ranked while away on orders was early this year while I was in Georgia and that is the only reason I could imagine my account might be banned. Since returning home, I've continued climbing though so it just makes me wonder. Thanks in advance for any help.

The best thing for you to do right now is to submit a ticket. Here's WookieeCookie's response to someone with the same question:

You'll need to submit a ticket to Riot Games Player Support regarding your issue. A few tips as you submit your request:

Be sure to submit as much information in your initial ticket as possible. For obvious reasons, each Player Support Specialist's request for more information will delay the resolution of the issue.
Do your best to not create a new ticket or respond to an existing ticket before a Player Support Specialist has had the chance to review your request. New tickets/replies may bump your ticket back to the bottom of the queue, thus increasing the amount of time before a Player Support Specialist is able to review your ticket.
Create an account on the Riot Games Support website. It'll save you a lot of time in the future and keep your requests organized and easier to find/access.
Be respectful and polite in your correspondences with Riot Support.

Keep in mind the current trigger for a boosting ban seems to be if anyone other than you played ranked games on the account. If anyone else gained access, say, during a deployment or TDY assignment, it may appear to be a boosting attempt.
