Getting Permanently Banned for no Reason?

Today after coming onto league after a week of being away, I was met by a permanent ban for 3rd party software. Not once have I used a third party software or know what software it even means. I started playing league with Overwolf in the background but that is it. Can someone please help? I spent quite a bit of money on League and I do not want to lose it to a permanent ban. >_<

Overwolf is legit. They are dolling out bans to force people onto new accounts to buy more skins because of all of the 'League dying' talk, they're scared for their money. I'd suggest moving onto a different game.
